Live And Learn Program

Live and Learn is a wonderful agency that helps women grow to their fullest potential. Live and Learn has a variety of programs that help women get on a career path to fulfill their goals and dreams by providing open door opportunities with the support needed to be sucessful.

I was a stay at home mom of two who wanted to become a physical therapist assistant, but did not know where or how to start. Live and Learn helped by making this dream become a reality. Not only was I guided in the right direction, but was also given encouragement, and some financial assistance for tuition, books, and childcare. They have great mentors that you can count on every step of the way. I have become a physical therapist assistant and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Live and Learn Program and for the great impact they've made in my life and those in my family.

As a mentor and coach for the Live and Learn Program, I have seen many women achieve their goals, and gain financial self-sufficiency as a result of support from this program. In addition to being able to support themselves and provide for their families, they gain confidence and are proud of their accomplishments. I have seen many Live and Learn participants encourage siblings and friends to become a part of the program as they set an example and provide inspiration for others. Their hard work and dedication continues to inspire me. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful organization that has touched the so many lives.

Live and Learn helped me go back to school. As a single, working mom, I needed help. I’m so thankful to have had the assistance of Live & Learn. Without the help from this organization I would never have taken the steps toward accomplishing my dreams!

I have had the honor working with Live & Learn since inception recruited by our founder Denise Schubert. We partner with Live & Learn AZ to provide high quality Medical Profession Education to members of the LIve/Learn Fellowship. Over the last few years the changes made to lives are nothing short of miraculous. The people that dedicate their time and money to Live and Learn AZ reap a rich reward of changed lives and bright futures. I want people to know what a Fabulous organization Live and Learn is. This nonprofit, strives to better the lives of women in the Phoenix community who are trying to get back on their feet. The people that work, and volunteer, whether by time or monetary donations at Live and Learn are driven to help others to better their lives. I am happy to be a part of this community

Hope & Inspiration…that is what Live & Learn is all about. It gives hope to those women who thought there was no way that they were ever going to change their present living conditions. It provides tools to take those “scary” steps with physical, emotional & financial assistance. However long it takes a woman to achieve her goal, she knows that she can rely on the staff at Live & Learn to be there for her…which is the best part of this program. It is gratifying to see women helping other women to enrich their lives and become independent & productive. Live & Learn inspires others to be the best they can be. Organizations like Live & Learn are an inspiration to all of us to help others who are not as fortunate.

I believe in everything that Live and Learn does to make lives better! I have seen the impact their work has made in my own company. Watching someone turn their dreams into reality is life changing.

As a teacher I truly believe that education is power! I’ve seen Live and Learn dedicate its resources to empowering women through financial education and traditional continued education programs. They are an asset to women and children, and as a direct result the community at large.

Live & Learn program is a reliable source of practical, tangible and consistent help to clients. I have experienced how they have showed up and stood beside me through vulnerable times and helped me navigate through a difficult situation in a respectful manner. They show up as people helping people, understanding that a difficult situation doesn't devalue the integrity of a person needing support. They are truly a humble demonstration of human kindness.

I’ve been looking for an organization that had meaning so this past Christmas i donated to Live & Learn; however, I wanted to become more involved. They encompass so many important facets of a women’s life which is why I decided to also invest my time helping the women involved in their program. I’ve been recruiting for 10 years; therefore, I am qualified and able to assist women by helping them work on their resumes and by providing interviewing tips so they can land a job quickly.

I like Live & Learn because they work with women focusing on 5 different areas so they can move forward with their lives.

An organization dedicated to really help families to get out of poverty through education. I had the blessing to see many women transform their lives with the help of Live and Learn. The organization empower women so they empower their children , and become a great role model for their families.
Simple but powerful things like changing the family conversations from "Are you going to College?" to "Which College are you going to when you grow up?', make the difference.
Live and Learn is giving women the opportunity to create a legacy of power, love, abundance and growth.
Live and Learn is a non profit that also partners with other organizations so they make sure women have all the support necessary to successfully get a higher education and find jobs, which allows them to get out of poverty.
As a volunteer I found it very rewarding to work with a wonderful team of honest, loving, caring and enthusiastic human beings, who are committed to make the difference.

I was a client at Live & Learn starting in 2013. I was a young mom overwhelmed with the pressures of living on very little income. I remember working hours that were very difficult for my children and I at a local pizza shop. My desire at the moment was to be able to work regular hours so that I could spend more time with my children. I decided to start the CDA program and got certified. Once I was done Live & Learned asked me, "what's next?". They knew I had potential that I didn't see myself. But that questions was asked at the right moment and I decided to go full force. I enrolled in college full time and decided that I wanted more. Live & Learn supported me each step of the way by holding me accountable and providing support and resources as needed. This past may I graduated with BA in Family and Human Development and I also became a Certified Nonprofit Professional. This organization helped me become self-sufficient for my children which was my goal but it also helped me grow as a person and become a better parent and role model to my children. I highly recommend this program to anyone that is in need of a little push to start a life changing path.

From the first time I heard about Live And Learn, I was interested in their mission and impressed by the program they offer to women. It’s been uplifting to me to read the experiences of the women who are working through the program and to hear how profoundly it has helped them to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
