My girlfriend and I had wanted a cat for a long time so when we stumbled onto this organization, we lucked out. We found our beautiful Siamese, Muta, and have been obsessed. I encourage everyone looking for a cat to go through Little Lives Animal Rescue. The adoption process was incredibly easy, but thorough as Muta’s foster had to vet us and see if we’d be a good match. I highly recommend this organization and if we look to adopt again we’ll definitely go here again.
This little guy was found by the road side under a bush on a cold rainy night. Little Lives stepped up to help him. They got him neutered and vaccinated. Ready for adoption. He is now in a wonderful forever home with a brother sibling. It was great working with Little Lives to get this sweet kitten adopted.
When I saw the fluffy black kitten, I knew I had to reach out to LLAR. I was already raising another young kitten and wanted to find her a companion. LLAR was fantastic—they answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, and gave me so much helpful advice for introducing the two. The whole process was easy and supportive, and I’m so grateful to have adopted through them.
We had kittens show up unexpectedly into our garden several months ago. We contacted ALL the rescue organisations we could find (and the no-kill shelters) to try and get help with trapping them. NO ONE helped. Most orgs didn't even contact us back. Some blew us off. The big no-kill shelters said they were too busy or too full. Finally, a friend of mine recommended Little Lives Animal Rescue as someone that had helped a family member of theirs, so we gave them a contact. Despina and Lillian at Little Lives were AMAZING. They quickly came over with traps, newspapers, information, help, and everything we needed to get everyone trapped, neutered/spayed and safe. I'd just about given up hope that ANYone was going to help with our kittens, but Little Lives helped, and we're so so grateful.
I would never have known what to do or had the resources to handle this myself, so I'm forever thankful for Little Lives.
I recently worked with Little Lives Animal Rescue. I have worked with several nonprofits over the years, but I have never been as impressed as I was with this group. I have had several feral cats colonies in NE Atlanta and worked with other groups to have them fixed. I had an explosion of new cats, and Little Lives worked to trap every one of them. They set up a trail cam to identify them, trapped them and made sure each one was fixed. We were astounded by how thorough and tenacious they were. We were so pleased and thankful for there hard work. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will be donors to this great group going forward.
Little Lives Animal Rescue was fantastic and walked me through the entire process of adopting my incredible kittens. They're attention to detail and focus on the well being of the cats in their care is second to none. I could not recommend an organization more highly!
I was so fortunate to find Little Lives and Lillian! A family of feral cats took over my yard and we had to find a way to control the population. She worked with me to complete a successful TNR. The cats have all been fixed and vaccinated. They’re healthy and doing well after being released back into my yard. Lillian is compassionate, patient and I highly recommend Little Lives.
We had such an amazing experience with Little Lives! I am so proud to know that a beautiful rescue like this exists in my neighborhood doing amazing work every day. Lillian is a true hero! I will forever be thankful to her for bringing so much love into my life. She made the adoption process very easy with her kindness and support.
Absolutely lovely rescue. You can immediately tell they care so much about the animals they are rescuing and want the best outcomes for them. I am so so grateful to them! We placed Miffy & George with them after cats started disappearing in our area and their mom was nowhere to be found. They have taken such good care of them and are so communicative and dependable. Little Lives is absolutely amazing! Lillian and all the foster parents are so knowledgeable, kind and do a great job! We recently adopted a kitten and it was such an easy and wonderful process.
Exceptionally caring and professional rescue organization! We adopted our sweet little pup from Little Lives Animal Rescue. Not only did they provide superior foster care for her while she was under their care, but also did an amazing job socializing her and preparing her for her forever home. At only four months old, she has a jump start on potty training, and has been so well socialized that she integrated seamlessly into our family. On her gotcha day, Little Lives Animal Rescue brought her to us, along with some supplies to ensure her first hours, days and weeks with us were a success.
I loved my experience adopting from Little Lives. They were thorough and kind, and it was easy to tell how much they cared for the cats while they were being fostered. From the day the cats were rescued to the day we adopted, these animals never knew a home without safety and love. We are so grateful to have our new kitties! Thank you!!!!
I have been fostering with Lillian ever since 2021 when she was helping me find a lost cat. I was nervous to foster kittens as i had never done it before, but she was so supportive and always there to help. I’m so happy she is now at her own rescue and as always, loved fostering for them. She worked with me to make sure my cats and the foster cats were prepared and taken care of during the experience. I have now fostered three pairs of kittens and a tripod cat and would not dream of working with anyone else.

Love this group!! It is so hard to find a wonderful rescue group who genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure that the pets in their care are adopted out to amazing homes who treat pets like family. The animals in their care are pampered and loved until that forever family is found. I contacted them after learning of a mama and four kittens that needed rescuing badly. Luckily they had room in their foster program and were able to take them in. I reached out to them again when someone I knew needed assistance TNR'ing their group of feral cats in their yard. LLAR stepped up and was able to get them all spay/neutered/vaccinated and returned to their neighborhood. Their trapping techniques were also supreme (monitoring traps w/o leaving them unattended, using the best traps to ensure the cats' comfort while in the trap and giving them the upmost care while recovering from surgery.) I hope folks will not hesitate to donate to this amazing rescue group so that they can continue to follow their mission to help homeless animals and to TNR to improve the lives of community/feral cats.
Adopted Ireland — she is such a sweet love bug! We had the best experience with everyone at LLAR. Couldn’t recommend them enough. We are so happy to add her to the family :)
