Causes: Adult Education, Education, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: The purpose of the organization shall be to promote and foster increased adult literacy in jefferson and lewis counties through the use of trained volunteer tutors.
Programs: Through the use of trained volunteer tutors, the organization assists illiterate, semi-literate and non-english speaking persons desiring to increase literacy. The people receiving services are primarily individuals who are sixteen years of age or over and who are not enrolled in a middle or secondary school.
