Causes: Health, Organ & Tissue Banks
Mission: The organization was formed to assist the lions eye bank of texas in furthering the goal of restoring eyesight and prevention of blindness.
Programs: The foundation funded research by three different individuals for the purpose of discovering new or improved treatments for eye disease and/or prevention of blindness - the foundation also funds a portion of the lions eye bank's sole employee who spends approximately 60% of her time working with individual lions clubs providing information regarding eye bank programs including collection of eyeglasses for needy persons and other programs.
