Youngsters are recruited throughout our community. To qualify, the child must be physically handicaped (visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically handicappe), between the ages of seven and sixteen, or be an insulin dependent diabetic, between the ages of seven and seventeen. No charge is assessed to the parents of those yougsters who are eligible to attend, and there is not any requirement to show financial need to qualify for the camp experience.

We contribute to several organizations that are supported by lions clubs throughout our district and internationally, and are a coordinated effort to assist those with hearing loss, blindness, disaster relief, or diabetes. We also provide some support to the rehabilitation department of the san antonio association for the blind.
