Hi, I am Geferd, 21, and one of the independent living beneficiary of the Lingap Center. I came from a broken family, sometimes eating only 3 times a week or once a day. I remembered having constant headache during those times because we did not eat a meal. It all changed when I came to Lingap last 2009. Lingap helped me to educate myself and learn some skills. Now I won't worry anymore because I can now have 3 meals a day and is studying in a wonderful school. This would not have been possible if not because of Lingap. Perhaps, I would be in the streets or working as a construction worker if I have not been blessed through this family. Tito John Drake always remind us of how important education is. And I promise to him that I would do my best to accomplish my dreams. That's all, and thank you for supporting the Lingap Center.
Hello everyone. I am asking all of you again to support the Lingap Children's Foundation, for it continues to extend its wonderful help to all its beneficiaries. As a staff working at the Center for about 12 years already, (and counting..) I have witnessed the multiple transformations in the lives of these children. Apart from these, I also recently finished my bachelor's degree through the assistance of Lingap. To all our benefactors, to Tito John and Tita Judy Drake, thank you once again!
The Lingap Center is a wonderful place for children who needed help, care and love. I have been working at the Center for about 4 months already. I appreciate all what Tito John, Tita Judy, and all the benefactors' concern, love, support, and care toward the kids. We are one as a family. Thank you and God bless us all.
I started working at the Center just this year and I have discovered not just a workplace full of employees and kids, but a family. Lingap has given these children a second chance - nourishing their bodies and soul, and most importantly equipping them with the mightiest weapon they could have which is EDUCATION. Tito John's vision for all of them have been instilled in each of them, with the over 30 college graduates we have from various professional fields. Additionally, our newly - inaugurated building also is a testament of how great the dedication of everyone in achieving the mission and vision of Lingap. With these, I am proud to say that I have been part of this great endeavor, and I look forward to be a part of the future transformations we could achieve to the lives of these God-given angels.
Lingap provides us everything in school. During our summer camp last month, we have learned a lot about responding to emergency situations. On our summerlympics, we also learned more about sports like basketball, and badminton. Without all of the sponsors, I could not have experienced all of those. Thank you for everything.
Good evening everyone. My name is Jaybee. I am 12 years old. Before I came to Lingap, I am from a broken family. My mother is a housemaid and my father passed away due to dengue. I am very sad that my father died when I was very young. I have a brother who is currently staying with my grandparents and a sister with me in the Lingap Center. I am very thankful to Tito John Drake and to all our sponsors of the Lingap Center. If not for Lingap, I will not be able to graduate in grade school. That's all, thank you!
Lingap has stood strong as a family throughout the years. We recently had our new building inaugurated for the independent living program, library, and computer room. We also celebrated our 7th Lingap Honor Society and Homecoming. Our other outreach programs like the regular Third Saturday Mass has also been sustained. All of this would not have been possible without the support of our benefactors, and everyone behind Lingap. We are so grateful for all of your help!
I am with Lingap for 12 years already, and have watched and guided the kids until most of them have acquired degrees and become better persons in the society. We thank all our sponsors, donors and benefactors for their unwavering support throughout Lingap's inception.
I am happy to share that our kids are happy and excited for 2019 school year. The kids have enjoyed the planned summer activities that the staff designed for them and now they look forward to meeting old friends in school and making new acquaintances. The privilege that the kids enjoyed would not be possible without the support of our benefactors and sponsors. Thank you very much for all the support! , especially to Tito John and Tita Judy who never ceases to provide us with their guidance and unconditional love. God bless everyone!
I am grateful of being able to serve. It was an answered prayer when I got hired as a staff in Lingap Center. I am a mother of three, but it is more satisfying and rewarding serving more. My family felt how honored we are to have Lingap as our extended family. We share a common goal to share LOVE. Every children in the center has the right to have a future that is not dictated by the past. Here at Lingap center we do our best to provide the effective care and intervention...guiding the children to be the best of what they can be.
First of all, I would like to thank all that you have given us here in the Lingap Center. I am very happy that you belong as one of our supporters of the Lingap Children's. Eventhough we have not meet each other, but we are so very thankful at you for your help and support. We give you in return by praying for your strength and strong heart. cause God is always beside us and guide us always.
Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.

To our beloved sponsors, I am part of the Lingap Center family. Thank you very much for supporting us in Lingap family. Thank you very much for the food you gave here in Lingap Center. and thank you for the school supplies and vitamins which you have given here in Lingap family. And while you are supporting us, we pray for all of your safety from calamities and others. And at times, you are suffering from any pain, we will keep on praying for you that you will hopefully be okay. My name is Ronalyn. I live in Toledo City, Cebu. My parents often fight one another until my father found another woman. It is my dream to live in Lingap, and thankfully, all of you have granted my prayers. I am now living in the Lingap Center with my fellow kids. I wish to finish my education and achieve my dreams. I am so thankful to all sponsors of the Lingap Center, because Lingap gave me the most important thing in my life, which is education.
To our dear supporters, even though you are far from us, you are all in our hearts and prayers. The love we felt from you is enormous. You are the reason why we grow like this, and without your help and support, we will never be where we are right now. Once again thank you and always remember the Lingap family loves all of you.
Hi, my name is Melyn. I am in 10th grade already. My father died when I was young that is why my mother is our family's sole provider. I have four other siblings. I came to Lingap last 2015. I am very happy that I came to Lingap because my future is secured here. I want to be a teacher someday. Thank you all for helping us!
To all the people who sponsor the Lingap Center, I am glad to know all of you. I know it is so hard to find the means for all of the support but rest assured, the Lord knows everything about your goodness. We cannot help you physically but we can also help you through our prayers. May the Lord guide all of us in times of troubles we encounter in our lives. Thank you for all the gifts that you gave us.
This foundation saves lives. 100% of your donations goes directly to the children. Lingap supports the most vulnerable children and orphans. They educate them, teach skills and give children hope. Please support this worthy endeavor. I have been there, seen first hand the great results. It's the real deal.
Best non-profit you have never heard of -- because 100% of contributions go directly to the cause and not to marketing or salaries for administration. Recently awarded TOP award in the country for the work they do. Check it out, your money is well invested in this charity. I've been there, seen what they do, know the culture and it is amazing. God's love at its best.
This is my all time favorite charity. It's the best run children's organization that there is. I feel honored to be able to play a small part in its incredible success.
Lingap Children's Foundation is my Number One Charity. What John Drake has accomplished in running this amazing orphanage is nothing short of a miracle! I've been a participant in their "Place At the Table" for several years now after reading an article in one of Detroit's newspaper. Knowing that we can help support a child for a mere $300 per year seems totally impossible. Every penny donated is used for these needy children, as Mr. Drake and his Board of Directors personally pay for all administrative expenses. These homeless children are given love, an education and best of all a chance to live life to its fullest. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know that I am truly making a difference in one child's life. Thank you John for giving me this opportunity. I urge everyone to go to their website and read of Lingap's history. I promise you it will make you laugh and it will make you cry.
In case you are following up on me, I have incredible news to share! I have just graduated a bachelor's degree in Nursing, with CUM LAUDE latin honors and a clinical competence award. However, this is not just about me but also each one of you. I urge all of you to congratulate yourselves for a job well done in shaping anew the lives of the Lingap kids like me. Thank you for being the reason why I am what I am today! To God be all the glory!
God bless you and your families,
