Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Health, Health Support, Human Services, Rehabilitative Care
Mission: Limbs for Life Foundation is a global non-profit organization dedicated to providing fully functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it and raising awareness of challenges facing amputees.
Results: Limbs for Life is the financial bridge for amputees with no other means to receive a prosthetic limb. In 2022 we anticipate providing more than $1 million in financial assistance for prosetheses for 360+ U.S. amputees. We also receive and redistribute donated prosthetic components across the U.S. and around the globe; and provide information and referrals.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 360 amputees in 16 states, distributed 6000 donated prosthetic parts for amputees across U.S. and 16 countries

Programs: The average cost for a prosthetic limb is $2,500 to Limbs for Life Foundation after the donation of the labor by the prosthetic clinic. The clinic has agreed to not bill the amputee for any further charges beyond the $2,500.
