Mission: To provide support for homeschooling families
Programs: Lighthouse sponsors a competitive athletics program to provide opportunities for homeschooled youth to develop physical fitness, discipline, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and good character through participation in competitive sports. There are about 100 participants.
lighthouse sponsors monthly parent meetings to support and encourage homeschool parents and provide information regarding local, state, and national events and happenings of interest. Attendance varies, but membership is more than 300 families.
lighthouse sponsors various events to provide opportunities for homeschooled students to participate in large and small group activities for academic, social, and character-building purposes. Examples include prom, graduation, field trips, intl fair, natl geographic bee, and spelling bee.
