Lighthouse

Such constant effort to achieve recovery is so, so rare. Not only is the Lighthouse an affordable step back into social productivity but beyond that, they constantly endeavor to model as well as teach Christian ethics and character to hearts that desire to live better lives. I have witnessed these changes personally over a 12 year period.

This is such an amazing place where people can get a new lease on life. The staff truly care about the clientele and treat them with dignity and respect, and it is a safe space to heal and get a fresh start.

These folks really care about the guys. They go all out to make them feel like family. Sharing the love of God is integral to their recovery journey, with daily in-house meetings offered throughout the week. Celebrating holidays is particularly cherished as a time to connect with and hang out with the men.

The light house organization provides excellent service to the clients. It gives struggling men a chance at a new start by providing structure and freedom. They are very friendly and caring.

The Lighthouse has been a ministry partner of mine and I’ve seen them impact peoples lives on a heart level. They truly care about the people who come into their program! Praise God for this group!

They have done everything possible for me, to save my life and help me to succeed! I am so very grateful to God for the love and support they give to the men. They are very very much needed, especially in today's society. I LOVE AND THANK THEM ALL!!!!

I have donated time, though not money to the lighthouse. I have worked with both the staff and some of those living there and have been impressed with the care and concern each show. Any time there is this level of density there is difficulty, the faith that pervades is what makes all the difference.

The lighthouse and their staff open a door to men who have very little options coming from difficult transitions in life, as well as providing a foundation where they can be supported, guided, and be held accountable to becoming a self-sufficient and stable member of society again. The home program is simple, orhabized, and there is never a shortage of amazing people to speak with about concerns, questions, and guidance in all areas. The lighthouse for me, was definitely nothing short of a miracle to battle homelessness and addiction. I am a flourishing man and sober 5 years now in thanks to the Lighthouse and their staff.

They are doing a great job in caring for men seeking to break the cycle of addiction. It is affordable and it is a safe and supportive environment. I would love to see them receive sizable donations so they can continue to improve the facilities and all aspects of the program.

The Lighthouse is an amazing place and provides hope and love to each and every resident. The staff encourages, supports, and loves every person that walks in the door and strives to help them be successful in their sobriety. They also create a comfortable and family-like environment for the men that live there!

The Lighthouse does an amazing job walking people through sobriety in a real, applicable way that they can maintain beyond the end of the program. The staff genuinely cares about each person that goes through the program and works to help them build lives on the right path.

They have a great heart of compassion and are faithful in everything they do.

I came to the lighthouse on Feb. 16, from the IRT program, in Sterling Colorado. I came in just expecting to complete probation. Since coming I found myself being more in touch with god and developing life skills that will help me further along in my recovery. I believe one of the Lighthouses strongest points is, its not like every other halfway house..... Most halfway houses you get the feeling its about money and just working a recovery program that feels forced upon you. Here at the lighthouse you can tell the staff is genuinely compassionate about seeing individuals better their life and to get in touch with god or a spiritual side. I can say I wasn't expecting to find myself nor was I expecting anything more then a place to live, but they helped me really question what I am doing with my life and where I'm going. I recommend the Lighthouse to anyone truly seeking a better life.
