I continue to serve as a volunteer minister at Light of the Lamb Church. Mark Sr. and his wife Chris continue to amaze me with their acts of kindness in helping others. They do a tremendous job in serving the local community . They have also reached out far beyond the Ramona borders to assist people in the greater San Diego area. Both are tireless in helping others. It is truly a pleasure to volunteer there. John
Light of the Lamb Ministry continues to serve the people of Ramona. Aid is given freely. Much effort and time is put in by the staff to help people who would otherwise have no other place to turn. The staff are always looking for new ways to be of assistance to the hungry and the homeless. Re-building peoples lives continues to be a top priority. It is a true pleasure to be a volunteer here.
Light of the Lamb helps the hungry and homeless of Ramona, California. Its staff are warm, loving and caring people. When someone comes to Light of the Lamb seeking assistance they are provided with just that. No one is turned away. I personally have witnessed great acts of kindness done by this organization. At Light of the Lamb people who need help are put FIRST. People served by Light of the Lamb regain their self-worth. This organization is truly one of the finest I have ever come in contact with. They help re-mend lives.
At age 39 , I found myself in an ugly place in life-unemployed , depressed ,with out family , with out transportation , and food and clothing were running low . it seemed like every place i looked for help , was a dead end. Then One day I decided to attend A Light Of the Lamb ministries , community meal .There I met Mark and Chris Baker. I was meet with open arms. One year later- I am off the streets , my fridge is full , I have new cloths , and I am making daily forward progress. I thank God every day , that I found Light Of The Lamb when I did.
Since working with Light Of The Lamb I have been very Blessed to see so many people receiving help through Project Care And Share. Through heavy rain, wind, extreme heat, volunteers work diligently to make sure people receive food and they do it with such a great attitude! It encourages me when I see the brighter side of humanity at work.
