Amazing organization with dedicated staff that is vital to the Western PA community. I'm proud to serve for an organization that cares so deeply about the community and continues to make an impact.
My wife and I were looking for an organization to assist and to donate to their good cause within the community. We found Life's Work of Western PA and looked at their programs that assist people in their quest to find meaningfulness in their work and the need to feel valued. They support their clients with empathy that empower them with many opportunities and services. We visited their new location and were impressed with how they manage their people and programs. I like to refer to this organization as a great-grass roots program providing direct support and assistance to the many individuals they serve. Inspired by their leadership and staff, we continue to support their team and their community efforts.

As someone with a sibling who has special needs, it is comforting to know that Life’s Work of western PA is a place for individuals to excel in specialized work training. So often we see some work force training centers have a “one size fits all” mentality for people with special needs, and we just know that does not work. I was very impressed with how professional and forward thinking the staff at Life’s Work were while interacting with them at a benefit, and I would not hesitate to donate to this institution again.

I have been associated with Life'sWork since April of 2020, when I was introduced to the organization by Life'sWork Executive Director, Tim Parks. After visiting the facility on Forbes Avenue in Uptown, I was immediately drown to the mission. I readily accepted an opportunity to join the board, and have considered myself privileged to serve the organization ever since. My greatest satisfaction is coming to the facility for a meeting and seeing clients that I've gotten to know over the years. The sense of pride, and belonging that our clients feel as a result of doing their jobs is the reason I continue to serve.
