After 45 yrs of addiction & mental health issues, I went through Lifeline treatment center. It was my 9th treatment center. That was in Sept. of 2010. I graduated in 28 days & started in the co-occuring program as my aftercare. That is the program that deals with addiction & mental health. After being in that program for 1 1/2 yrs. I graduated from that program & now I'm a Lifeline Alumni & co-chair of that committee. I've been clean & sober for almost 4 yrs. & my life today is so different. Lifeline gave me the tools to cope with life & the struggles that sometimes happen throughout our lives. My relationships with my family & friends are healthy. I like to say that at 61 I am a "MIRACLE" & Lifeline helped me become that miracle! It saved my life & I no longer am breaking my 84 yr. old mothers heart.

I worked at Lifeline Connections full-time
Pros – You might actually help somebody once in a while. That's about it ! Any possible rewards are outweighed by the many dead-end factors of this job !
Cons – Terribly low pay ! With no hope of a raise. Withholding of benefits for several months. Some lazy and incompetent coworkers. Some of which have been there way too long(and should have been fired) that will pile work on the people who want to do a good job ! Poor to virtually no training to troubleshoot potentially dangerous scenarios.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay a Living wage ! Pay a Living wage ! Pay a Living wage ! Give raises, and provide incentives for people to do a good job ! Provide benefits in a timely fashion. Don't withhold them until the absolute last possible minute! Way too many limits on when benefits start. Get rid of the handful of Lazy/incompetent workers that have been there too long. They are driving off new people that would have been future assets to your company.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

LIfeline provides a great service to the community in servicing those with substance abuse and mental health issues. I have seen lives change for the better. The substance abuse and residential treatment programs teach people how to establish goals, set healthy boundries, identify thinking errors, and build self esteem. Staff believe that each resident has the right to be a functioning contributing member of the community.

The program is challenging and requires much introspection that is not always easy. When you are facing your demons you tend to want to run. Techniques and skills taugh help to face those demons head on and learn how to either manage them or eliminate them altogether.

Lifeline gives you your life back if you are willing to put in the time, effort, energy, and commitment required to live in recovery.

Thank you Lifeline!
