For 5 years my non-profit provides low cost-no cost spay/neuters for low income families living in south Cobb County, GA. Having experience with Lifeline from working for a rescue for 10 years prior, I contacted them and we partner on transports to their facilities. The provide the medical services at one of their spay/neuter clinics in a very competent and compassionate way. They also manage 2 of the largest county shelters in the metro Atlanta area and have changed them from "kill" shelters to "no-kill" numbers. The Atlanta area benefits from having a non-profit group such as this serving our communities. Thank you to Lifeline and it's staff for the 1,000+spay/neuters you have performed for us. You are lifesavers!!! Fran Jackson, President- PAWSitive Supporters

This organization is amazing and does great work in the Atlanta area rescuing animals in need. Their stats speak volumes to how many dogs and cats they’ve saved and cared for over the years

I am proud to be a donor and advocate for the superior services that LifeLine provides. The problems associated with animal welfare are incredibly complex and require multi-faceted solutions. The passionate and dedicated staff of LifeLine have worked tirelessly to face these issues head-on, leading to a dramatic reduction in the percentage of pets that are euthanized in the Atlanta area. They engage in constant community outreach to educate the public about the challenges that homeless or unwanted pets in Atlanta face as well as to provide resources for people who are struggling to care for their pets.

One of my earlier interactions with LifeLine was via a stray dog that my family found on Thanksgiving, 2015. This dog (now known and loved as Charlie) was malnourished, severely matted, had ticks in his nail beds and ears, and was starving and terrified. LifeLine helped with reduced cost treatment of his heartworm and provided guidance to us throughout the process of fostering and eventually finding a home for sweet Charlie. The before and after photos show how much his life has turned around since that Thanksgiving.

LifeLine's services are invaluable to the greater Atlanta area. I am proud to support them and hope that others will have an opportunity to interact with the folks at LifeLine in the future, whether as a volunteer, a recipient of services, a donor, or an engaged community member !

LifeLine Animal Project has gone above and beyond to ensure that animals in Atlanta are given the fighting chance they deserve. The work they do isn't easy, but the staff remains dedicated and passionate and I'm thankful this organization exists. I applaud LifeLine and I'm proud to be an active donor and advocate on their behalf. Thank you for ALL you do!

I can't say enough about Lifeline Animal Project! LAP has done so much in the past few years for the unwanted/lost animals of Atlanta. Thank you for striving to make Atlanta a "no kill" city. To see these animals removed from harmful situations and eventually become part of a family just warms my heart! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The staff at Lifeline Animal Project are dedicated to the animals and helpful to volunteers of all skill levels. I voluntered there a couple of times a week until recently, I adopted a young dog for myself. I look forward to returning to my volunteer duties once my new dog is fully settled. It was heart warming to see the true happiness on the staffers' faces to see the adoption finalized. With so animals and so many tasks to do I assumed adoptions would be commonplace, but that was not at all the case. They bib Cleveland a joyous and fond farewell. They even remembered him (and he them) on a return visit. The staff providing animal care do physically and emotionally difficult work every day. These amazing men and women SHINE! We went to Fulton County Animal Shelter to meet and adopt a dog in October. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Every single volunteer I saw was busy working and even so took his/her time to talk to us about a dog or bring a dog out to a pen to interact with.

We were interested in meeting one dog that was still a baby so couldn't go outside. The staff moved another dog from a kennel and then cleaned the kennel for us to go in and visit with a puppy.

The entire was clean and organized. The adoption process was easy and quick.

I LOVE Lifeline! I bring feral cats to them to neuter/spay for free (or a small fee for vaccinations). Where would we be without them helping keep animals off the streets and the populations down? THANK YOU LIFELINE!!!

What a strange an inappropriate review I just read. The director is nationally-recognized and respected with both national advocacy and local groups. No one has done more for Atlanta area animals than her, and she should be given credit for her work. It's easy to criticize from an armchair, but who else has offered to take the lead in Atlanta welfare? And she is doing a great job. Just my two cents, from having worked with the rescue community for many years.

Lifeline Animal Project is run by individuals with a high sense of self importance who outwardly market a false narrative about their expertise but lack true industry experience and connections within the industry. For example, on their webpage "About Lifeline Animal Project" they write "Our nationally recognized shelter evaluation team provides assessments and consultations at animal care and control shelters across the country...." yet numerous industry experts could not offer positive commentary about Lifeline and its executive director, Rebecca Guinn, while still others have never heard of Rebecca or her organization. Of those that do know Rebecca, a common theme emerged about her lack of competence - not one TRUE industry expert would offer anything positive to say about Rebecca. Their communications director, Karen Hirsch, also received criticism for her lack of professionalism with many citing that she attempts to use her "sexuality" (i.e. exposing much cleavage) to make up for her lack of knowledge. This has created a resentment towards her and eroded any of her credibility.

LifeLine Animal Project has a wonderful trap/neuter/return program and nonprofit clinic that often provides free spaying/neutering. They also give a lot of resources to help cats and caretakers.

This is a very unprofessional and dishonest organization. Just read their front page full of "myths" that they attempt to dispell by spreading misinformaion. They encourage the release of sick and dangerous animals into the environment with no concern for the impact on humans or wildlife. Stay clear of these people as they will only make you look bad.
