Causes: Health, Organ & Tissue Banks
Mission: To create a new standard in human tissue donation to ensure the continued acceleration of scientific research and medical education.
Programs: We facilitated the distribution of nontransplantable tissue to medical doctors and researchers throughout the world, which minimizes the amount of discarded nontransplantable tissue. We also worked to increase public awareness of research tissue donations in order to fulfill the overwhelming need of doctors, researchers and educators. Donated organs and tissues are used for: dementia research, alzheimer's and parkinson's research, diabetes research, arthritis research, asthma and copd research, ms and als research, spinal cord injury research, cancer research, drug therapy research; surgical educatoin, bariatric and urologic education, orthopedic education; surgical device development and invasive surgical procedures.
