I have been coming here for bioidentical hormone pellet therapy since 2018 with Angela Bumpus, APRN. I love this practice. So easy to make an appointment and I seldom have to wait. Angela and her team are incredibly compassionate and value my time.

LifeChoices in an exceptional primary care practice. Dr. Keenan is my PCP and does an excellent job walking me through things during our appointments. He's got pretty good training in sports medicine as well and helped me figure out what to do about a nagging shoulder injury. Dr Keenan really takes his time with you, the office staff are OUTSTANDING. I love that they have multiple areas of care in the one office. Wish I never had to find outside care for other issues.

Dr. Keenan is amazing! He takes time to listen to you and answer all your questions. He always makes me feel heard. I am a first time mom so I have a lot of questions. He answers each of them and shows great respect for me as a mom. I've been bringing my son to him since he was born.
I've seen him myself before as well. He was very thorough and asked me lots of questions and gave me great suggestions. I always recommend Dr. Keenan to friends when they are looking for a pediatrician or doctor.
We drive 45 minutes to his practice and it is well worth it.

When my husband and I came down with Covid in January, Dr. Keenan saw us immediately. The office even stayed open beyond 5 pm to be able for us to be seen. The staff actually had us stay in the car and the PCR test was done outside. We got the test results within 24 hours. The compassion they have shown both of us is excellent.

They provide medical care for the whole family with competence and compassion, consistent with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. This is my first child and from the beginning the outreach coordinator made us feel so welcomed and help to prepare me for being able to receive my prenatal care with them. They have an after hours line that you can at anytime and they will advise and assist you until they can see you and will make room for you if needed as an emergency. I’m happy I found Guiding Star.

I decided to receive care at Guiding Star after having a bad experience with my previous one. This office has provided me with so much information about pregnancy that I was never told at my previous OB. The staff is so nice and I never have to wait more than minutes to be seen. I will continue to be seen here for my current pregnancies as well as my future ones.

If you are looking for excellent prenatal care, your search is over. I was a bit skeptical of their high ratings when I first discovered them on Google, but after a few appointments there I can confidently say these ratings are well deserved. Everyone there is so pleasant, patient, and caring. I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes after my appointment time to be seen. They know what they are doing and they are extremely knowledgeable about their jobs. Special thanks to Marissa and Rosa who were very helpful in answering my questions about insurance for the first couple of visits, and for helping me get my Medicaid approved. I love it here!

I personally love guiding star tampa. I was pregnant with my 1st baby i did all my prenatal care there and it was so helpful, from the reception to the doctors everyone is amazing and sweet. They do love their job. I still go there like every two weeks Dolly is one of the staff members who is the sweetest and the best she gives me baby formula, baby clothes wipes diapers and that helps me a lot what else can you ask for!!!, they are iso generous. I will definitely go back. I recommend guiding star tamp. You will never get disappointed.

I absolutely love this FAITH BASED practice and group of providers!!! The women here have made me feel nothing short of important, cared for, and like me and my baby's health are their first priority! I am an Abortion Reversal Patient so as it being an emotional journey to begin with, this office of women brought me and baby right in with open arms and ready to provide exceptional comfort and service! I look forward to every appointment I have with them as we keep up with baby's growth and development until we finally get to me face to face! My I have only had 2 appointments with them so far this pregnancy, but they are amazing. From the moment I arrived they came out to my car to greet me, take my temperature, and escort me into the office. They thoroughly explain all the services they provide, from classes to support groups, it really shows that women's well being is their top priority!

I am currently 6 months pregnant and I had the worse experience with Exodus Womens Center during the first 5.5 months of my pregnancy . I decided to transfer to Guiding Star Tampa after a old friend of mine went there during her pregnancy. After my first visit I already felt welcomed & like I was a part of a family. I experienced a miscarriage at 8 weeks last June so getting the proper care means everything too me during this pregnancy. Guiding Star offers classes and everything for you to be prepared when the baby comes.

Guiding star is heaven sent . I have Medicaid and it’s really hard finding a clinic that takes my insurance and if I do find some where I usually have to compromise the quality of service I’m getting as a patient which isn’t something I want to compromise when it comes to a situation as delicate and serious as being pregnant for the first time and having a baby . With guiding star that’s not the case. They take my insurance and the way they treat me as a patient is amazing . I don’t even feel like just another patient they make me feel like family because they really show how much they do care even the receptionist . Thank u guiding star

I'm on Medicaid and was having trouble finding a good ob clinic that I liked that took my insurance. I tried two others and just didn't feel like they were going to be a good fit. The ladies at the office were super friendly and helpful, and helped me figure out which insurance option I could switch over to that they would accept. They have a really nice education component where you watch videos and stuff and then get some fake money to shop in their cute little on site baby boutique or get free/discounted sonograms. Marissa is wonderful, as well as the rest of the office staff and I'm really happy with Tammara as my provider! I'm currently 18wks, almost to the halfway point!

Guiding start Tampa was recommended to me by my sister after I moved from Louisiana. The staff was very kind and welcoming to me helping get all my information transferred over from my previous clinic. They helped me a lot on my first visit answering any questions I had.

I was going crazy not finding a doctor that would help me being that I didn’t have insurance at the moment. And the ladies helped me apply for insurance, walked me through all their services and they made it so much helpful and affordable to be seen by the doctor. To be honest it is a blessing to be able to visit the office and be seen by the ladies here. I will be seeing them throughout my whole pregnancy. Thanks!

My primary doctor was pregnant and recommended me Guiding Star when I told her I was pregnant and it has being a wonderful experience since the very beginning. This is my second baby and the first one was so much different. Here I feel this is a true place that care for women and her needs, not just a billing doctor, the advices they give you and the treatment you receive in every visit. I highly recommended every women to come here, not just pregnant women, they also help my mom that did not have an insurance to get her annual check done. It is wonderful.

I love all of the ladies here! They are always so pleasant and really happy to be apart of your journey of becoming a new mommy. I do not have insurance, as a self-pay client I can tell you they are very affordable. They also have a lot of ways to "earn while you learn" where you can use "mommy bucks" to buy clothes and supplies for your baby as well as discounts on ultrasounds! I just went to this office for the first time yesterday, and was very pleased. Being 5 months pregnant and just now being able to get care they were able to schedule me right away. My previous doctors office had gave me issues during my last pregnancy so this office was a breath of fresh air. Everyone was very welcoming and the place itself was nicely kept. Less like a doctors office and more homey comforting feel.

Guiding star has THE BEST program. And staff. They have this earn while you learn program, which empowers women and future mothers to learn on the already ever-changing process to motherhood. They encourage them to watch educational videos on everything from how their body is changing, how the fetus is developing within them, breast-feeding techniques, and everything postpartum up to a toddler! With advice for the mother as a woman and as a mom. They give you these points or credits, so you can use them towards ultrasounds, clothes, diapers, etc. i am so grateful to have them. Most women will go the whole pregnancy and only see the baby 1/2 times on ultrasounds thru covered insurance and this program has given me so much to look forward to. I highly recommend them for all of your obgyn Needs-pre pregnancy, just wellness, and postpartum. the staff is like family- they REALLY care- and I think their should be more establishments like this in the medical field. Love them and feel so safe and well taken care of

They genuinely want to help you in any way and have a wealth of resources with books you can borrow, in person classes you can attend and online video resources. You can even earn points for attending classes or watching videos online. Those points can earn you free stuff at your next appointment. So pleased I found Guiding Star Tampa and would recommend it to any of my girlfriends.

I have never experienced care like that of Guiding Star.

I came to them for help after my miscarriage, and instead of medicating me, they educated me so that I could succeed on my own. The first time I saw them, I left with tears in my eyes, basically in shock that I had been treated so kindly (something I have never experienced form a medical professional). These women treat their patients with such love, respect, and kindness that it is genuinely a bit shocking to someone who was brought up in government healthcare. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you're someone, like me, who's had traumatic experiences with doctors, please don't look any further. You will be cared for here.

I chose Guiding Star because of the great reviews; however, these reviews do not do this place justice! From the front desk, all around they are just a wonderful group of people! Everyone makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed from the time you arrive until the time you leave. For those who have a busy schedule like myself, they are always willing to work with me throughout the week to make sure I get the special care and attention that I deserve. They have made my life 1000x easier by adding Earn While You Learn Classes online. My boyfriend and I have two different schedules, therefore, it is harder to get us both into a class at the same time. With this online program, we have both taken full advantage and have been utilizing our evenings to enjoy the videos while preparing for our baby's arrival. For those who are pretty tech-savvy, the office has their own online portal to keep track of your medical appointments and notes. I would recommend this place to any women pregnant or not, I can assure you, you will be in great hands!

I am a Bio identical hormone replacement patient and from the moment you step in, to the moment you checkout, is a wonderful experience. They make you feel like home. The office is beautiful, warm and inviting, the staff is very friendly and sweet. Tammy, the nurse practitioner, is very compassionate, treats me with kindness and compassion, she is very cautious and thorough with the treatments and experience. This organization has and continues to help all of my family members in different ways. My mother is a widow and she enjoys spending her time and volunteering here weekly. My sister also started off volunteering and continues to do awesome things here. There are support groups, breastfeeding support, yoga, Zumba, art as therapy, financial classes, connections to other resources, parenting support and lessons, trauma healing, post abortion healing, boundaries classes, the list goes on and on. And at most events food is provided, everything is free! And by committing yourself to be a better you guiding star also rewards your achievement with mommy dollars to spend at a baby boutique. There’s baby clothes, diapers, shoes, women’s clothes, bigger baby items, breastfeeding supplies, everything. Guiding star has helped me every step of the way of my motherhood journey. I can’t ever thank them enough because if I never met them I wouldn’t be the strong independent successful woman I am today.

They don't try to sell you a quick fix but really try to find the root of what's going on in your body. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so personable and kind. You truly feel cared for here. They also have so many great education and support services here from mommy support groups, art as therapy, and healing groups from past trauma. And so much more!

I currently don’t have insurance and was referred to go here. I was worried that since I didn’t have insurance I would be rushed out, but that was not the case. Dr. Taylor took her time, has a great bed side manner, her and her staff made me feel comfortable. I will continue to come here even after I get insurance.

I came to Guiding Star of Tampa when I was pregnant and alone. As a single mother I had nothing for my unborn child, the women at guiding star took me in made me feel like family that I never had

I have used Guiding Star of Tampa Bay multiple times over the years. My first experience with them was to confirm a pregnancy to secure insurance. They were warm and welcoming and had tons of resources available for me as well as support groups and classes if needed. Since then I have been back for my yearly check up, I do not have insurance because the cost is just too high for our budget right now. It was great to get peace of mind when all my results came back good and i didnt have to worry about an outrageous bill at the end.
Now I am back again for prenatal care. I love that they offer childcare for when you attend your appt. or some of the other classes they offer. There is a great support system right withing this wonderful program and I am glad I came across them and have been able to benefit from their services throughout the years.

After going back and forth between doctors who just wanted to pump me up with meds and hormones, I finally found Guiding Star: a place where they truly value the dignity of the woman...and they do it HOLISTICALLY and NATURALLY. Their patience and kindness in finding a natural solution perfectly tailored to my body- something that I have never seen in other healthcare providers- is an absolute blessing. Go here if you want to be truly cared for. This office is about 45 minutes to an hour away from me, but I make the drive because I know I will not receive healthcare like this anywhere else!

Guiding Star Tampa is leading the growth of women's healthcare to natural and holistic focused well-women care at all stages of her life. GST has accomplished this transition by assisting each client develop her mind, body, and spirit using techniques that do no harm. It has been a joy to volunteer at GST over the last five years. Many positive changes have occurred during this time, all leading to the present state of the art medical center that enriches women's lives by meeting their immediate needs and preparing them for their future. I highly recommend this facility and its staff.
