Mission: Founded in 1983, Life Centers operates pregnancy resource centers in Central Indiana that provide compassionate care to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Our peer counselors provide life-affirming information about pregnancy options while sharing biblical truth, resulting in changed lives to the glory of God.
Programs: In 2014, life centers provided 24,383 free services to 6,631 different women over 8,073 visits to our centers. These services included: medical grade pregnancy tests (5,622 in 2014), ultrasound exams (264 in 2014), peer counseling, material pregnancy support services (diapers, wipes, baby clothes, maternity clothes, baby furniture and toys, strollers, etc. ), service referrals (other non-profits, ministries and government agencies), 24 hour help line calls, and other services. All of these were provided at no cost to the clients receiving the services.
life centers offers the grace program for those that are post-abortive. This group counseling program offers healing for those who have had an abortion. Expenses for this program were incurred and recorded in 2014. The revenue from this program comes from the clients who participate and the leaders who go through training to facilitate the program.
