As a member of the Liberty Team I have been impressed by the emphasis that is placed on educating and maintaining the deeds of those of the paratrooper veterans from WW2 onwards. Those that participated in WW2 are called our "Greatest Generation" and having jumped on the drop zones of Bastogne and Normandy, I am truly in awe of the young men that jumped into enemy held Europe.
The organizers are truly dedicated to educating and promoting the story of the allied paratroopers, from WW2 to those still on jump status. Every member is self funding, which they see is an honour to participate in anniversary events, which culminates every June in Normandy.

Mission: Liberty Jump Team Inc seeks to remember and keep the public aware both in the US and Europe of the great sacrifices made by the brave men and women of WWII and all Foreign wars.We also seek to honor the current men and women of the Airborne trained in the US Army today. This is accomplshed by volunteers from the current Armed Forces as well as Foreign and US Military retired and reservists. These volunteers donate their time, resources and energy into a mission to keep these memories alive for the future generations.Our commemorative jumps are accomplished through professional relationships with key organizers of such events in Europe and US as well as various Veteran's organizations.We also encourage our members to seek chances to honor the veterans with other similiar organizations as well performing jumps.Many of our members have a family member who is a veteran and for them this mission holds very close to the heart.
Target demographics: To bring awareness to the history and sacrifice of our Veterans of the past and today
Direct beneficiaries per year: We take WWII veterans to Normandy France, Holland and Belgium so that they may revisit the places they fought. We visit schools and help educate the young of today as well as have them to events where we are performing.
Geographic areas served: All over the US and Europe doing airshows and Military events. The team is comprised of active duty and retired Military.
Programs: By performing static line jumps from vintage aircraft ,providing educational static displays and educating the young about our veterans.
