LeMoyne is the community art center. From art exhibits to art classes it serves the entire community, providing art scholarships for both children and adults. LeMoyne has been rockin it for 50 years and is proudly working on its next 50! They provide opportunities for other non-profits to share the limelight with them. At First Friday gallery hops the front porch becomes the source of information being shared by non-profits that may not have a chance to reach the audience that comes to LeMoyne. Totally walking the talk of being a part of a community and sharing the wealth and strength so that all benefit and can pass it on!

I have been attending gallery events for over four years and am always impressed by the art, the staff, and the beautiful garden. If Ryan Gosling ever proposes, I will be married in the the LeMoyne Garden. It is a dynamic place filled with great variety of artful media. I always take visitors by to shop their little boutique and support local artists.

LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts is a non-profit arts center which has been serving Tallahassee and the region since 1963. LeMoyne offers art exhibition all year round in a professional setting which draws in the art community to appreciate the visual arts. Through these exhibitions, art collectors meet with artists and many artists have launched their careers through showing at LeMoyne. LeMoyne also offers year-round art education classes. Most are studio based with professional artists teaching techniques in all media. Classes are offered to pre-schoolers through adults and are very high quality. LeMoyne also brings the annual LeMoyne Chain of Parks Art Festival to Tallahassee each year. This fine art festival is held in downtown Tallahassee and provides a venue for over 125 artists to show their work to the public for viewing and purchase. Over 40,000 visitors attend this cultural event which also includes live entertainment and food vendors. There is so much more that LeMoyne brings to the community.
