My lawyer was a female. While I appreciated the retainer only being $2,000.00 as opposed to $5,000.00, my lawyer seem to forget that she was a PAID worker. I was told multiple times that she would resign from my case if I did not do what she was advising. I felt she was intimidated by the other attorney in my case. The paperwork portion was on time and well done. BUT next time I will absolutely save the money for an attorney who has MY best interest at heart. She clearly did not.

Programs: Civil division- provides civil legal services to poor and working poor in monroe, orleans, genesee, livingston and wayne counties. Direct legal representation and brief services are provided in the areas of family law, housing and immigration. Family law programs include representation in family and supreme court in domestic violence, child support, divorce, custody and visitation. Housing unit programs include representation in eviction, foreclosure prevention, first time home buyer services, credit repair and landlord service.
juvenile justice division: provides legal services to youth in monroe county family court through the attorney for the child program. Services include legal representation in abuse, neglect, juvenile delinquency, pins, custody and visitations. The education law program provides legal representation and advocacy to youth and their families in monroe, livingston and genesee counties on educational law related issues.
