This is a no-kill shelter, housing dogs, cats, and some livestock. Animals in need (abused, neglected, injured) are given priority. 100% of donations are used to care for the animals. The greatest expenses are for salaries for workers and for veterinary expenses. Food donations are welcome, but many nice donations are received from Wal-Mart and Target. The shelter currently cares for over 200 animals.
