I was a resident at Lee Conlee House. I was in a domestic violent relationship. I left for the day to run errands and when I returned to my room my Keys and extra cell phone (to play games) and clothes where thrown away by the staff. I know this because when I returned I went in the drawer assigned to me and everything was gone. I immediately went to the office and asked where my belonging were and they told me that my items were gathered and put in the outside storage trailer. so Im like why did you do that? I did not abandon my keys and phone definitely NOT. I had to wait on Keonte (director) who has the keys to open for me and when she did no items of mine. I was Livid... I believe this act was a vindictive action by staff for no apparent reason. I was hurt and because of the paper I signed when I checked in about lost or stolen items I could do absolutely nothing. Please get locks for your belongings at this place. BTW they NEVER offered me a locker. If they had I would have used that.

Mission: Lee conlee house, inc. Provides aid and assistance to victims of domestic violence in and around putnam county, florida.
Programs: The organization provided shelter, counseling and outreach programs to victims of domestic violence and also for the affected children. During the organization's fiscal year, a total of 13,244 nights of shelter were provided for approximately 212 individuals, outreach programs assisted other victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, and 439 calls to the hotline were received.
