Causes: Community Service Clubs, Leadership Development
Mission: We continually discover and convene committed individuals, enhancing and recharging their leadership skills by introducing them to a powerful community through whom they find knowledge and inspiration. We engage floridians by providing essential information and a meaningful forum for their opinions, and create opportunities for shared experiences that are inviting, inspiring and of lasting value.
Programs: Objective: to provide a diverse group of leaders with nonpartisan perspectives on key issues facing florida, as well as continued leadership training. Accomplishments: over 716 attendees participated in four days of programming, including sessions on tourism, growth management, education and technological innovation
objective: to provide intensive training to a diverse group of leaders (leadership florida cornerstone), young professional leaders (leadership florida connect), and executives (leadership florida executive). Accomplishments: provided 8-month curriculum to 54 leaders (leadership florida cornerstone), 146 young professional leaders (leadership florida connect & connect day at the capitol), 100 mayors (florida league of mayors), 39 educators (leadership florida education), and 30 executives (leadership florida executive).
objective: to offer the over 1,482 active members of leadership florida programs to connect and interact with one another in meaningful forums that expand the impact of community leaders across the state. Accomplishments: nine active regions across the state held acontinuum of activities.
