Programs: The donated goods and retail services program involves the collection, processing, distribution and selling of used donated clothing and other donated items in 14 retail locations throughout central illinois. This program provides approximately 350 employment opportunities for disabled, disadvantaged, and hard to employ individuals. The revenue generated from this program helps support community based programs and job placement services.
the contracts and industrial serivce programs provide employment for approximately 10 disabled and disadvantaged individuals at 16 different community sites in the springfield illinois area. These programs provide a variety of work experience in custodial, cleaning and ground keeping duties.
the rehabilitation and mission service programs provide in-house day programming and work adjustment training for approximately 60 disabled participants. Youth mentoring program helps at risk youths age 12 to 17, build career plans, complete school and help them prepare for the workplace through structured supportive relationships with adult mentors. The goal of matching 175 youth with mentors has been met.
