The Land Connection continues to expand its mission to save farmland from development by training a new generation of farmers and supporting the existing ones as well.

The Land Connection started as an effort to save a central Illinois family farm from becoming a subdivision. It has over the years saved more farmland and expanded to training the new generation of farmers. This new generation is promoting sustainability and organic practices. As my family wants to support local and organic products this effort helps increase the variety of products available.
