Mission: To share the good news of jesus christ through the arts
Programs: All about kids productions (aakp) . . . Is a week-long summer performing arts day camp designed for children who are entering grades two through eight. Lamplight artists partners with local churches to produce a kid-paced camp full of music, drama, dance, bible study, just the right amount of hard work, plenty of laughter, and lots of fun to create an awesome learning environment! This year lamplight artists produced 19 camps in 4 states, ministering to 662 students. Working alongside the aakp teams were over 180 volunteer staff. The weekly closing performances (the friday night show) attracted 3000+ parents, family, and friends.
summer internship program . . . The summer intern program is offered to college and university students and young professionals, and is designed to provide skill development, leadership training, and practical experience in sharing the good news of christ through the arts. 16 interns had the opportunity to work with 662 students, 190+ professional and volunteer staff, and perform for audiences totally 3000+.
