Causes: Environment, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: To educate the public regarding the hazards in our waters.
Programs: D. A. V. E. (derelict, abandoned, vessel eradication): forty-two vessels and 518,540 pounds of floating debris were removed from the intracoastal waterway in palm beach county in 2017, making the water cleaner and safer for all citizens. There are now 542 members in the "kayak to cleanup program". In the spirit of maintaining community education and awareness, lagoonkeepers. Org contributed to eighteen cleanup events, two public outreach events, and fifty-six calls for boating hazards in 2017.
