Programs: Facilities provided for: housing racing shells, oars, coaching launches, repair shop, and rowing/training equipment for training amateur athletes. (expenses include depreciation)
provide coaches and trainers for training amateur athletes. Lwrc runs the head of the lake, a nationally recognized regatta, with approximately 450 boats entered in 2014. In fall of 2014, lwrc added a junior program for students in grades 7 through 12. The program offers juniors a unique rowing experience, with emphasis on skill development, technique, and strength training. Juniors row in small boats - singles, doubles, triples and quads. They are encouraged to develop confidence through teamwork and leadership, as well as individual goals.
provide educational programs for rowers and those involved in the sport of rowing. Lake washington rowing club's 'learn to row' program taught over 195 new rowers how to row in 2014. Many students took multiple classes.
