Causes: Education, Elementary & Secondary Schools, Literacy, Preschools
Mission: The mission of Lake Tahoe School is to nurture a life-long love of learning with the purpose of developing critical thinkers and articulate, confident leaders.
Results: Now in our 22nd academic year, the Lake Tahoe School has educated more than 2200 students who have gone on to be leaders in their communities and conscientious members of their workplaces.
Target demographics: students thrive in the educational experience and develop into confident leaders.
Direct beneficiaries per year: More than 140 students, their families & friends, and the wider community to value independent education.
Geographic areas served: northern Nevada, Truckee Basin, and Tahoe Basin areas.
Programs: The school provided educational services to approximately 140 children at the pre-school through eighth grade level during the 2018-2019 school year.
