Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: To acquire locations in ottawa county, ohio for families and children to explore items and exhibits which stimulate curiosity and facilitate learning through hands-on, interactive discovery of the unique natural history of the lake erie islands and to foster appreciation and protection through conservation of these resources.
Programs: Operate museum with items and exhibits of local island nature. Also maintain woods and examples of natural ecosystems. Provide a range of activities from children's programs to road scholar events, tours and lectures.
