Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Lake Erie Ink provides creative expression opportunities and academic support to youth in the greater Cleveland community.
Target demographics: youth of all ages, abililties and backgroundsexpress themselves and find their creative voice
Direct beneficiaries per year: more than 3,000 students in our creative expression programs in schools and at our site.
Geographic areas served: the greater Cleveland area
Programs: creative writing in a range of genres, including poetry, play writing, comics and fiction. We run after school, evening and weekend workshops at our site in the Coventry neighborhood. We also bring creative writing strategies and resources to the community by working with teachers and youth serving professionals.
