Mission: To further the awareness and art of quilting in our community.
Programs: The guild engaged in quilt-making activities which created 282 quilts primarily donated to lake county organizations including veterans groups (quilts of valor), schools, rehab and care centers, police departments (shop with a cop program). The guild donated approximately 900 pillowcases which were distributed to hospitals, infusion centers and children fighting cancer. Members also constructed and donated a quilt to be used at at waterman hospital for a fund raising raffle. The guild also provided education to members and the public in the history and art of quilt making as well as monetary donations to various organizations.
