Programs: Annual la quinta arts festival (in it's 35th year) nationally ranked fine arts festival. The program serves over 220 contemporary working artists' career objectives while engaging over 20,000 residents and visitors through visual and performing arts. The event also promotes the city of la quinta as a cultural destination and enhances the city's art in public places program.
outreach programs: scholarships - lqaf visual arts scholarship program has awarded a total of $1,278,000 to students pursuing college degrees in visual arts since it's inception in 1982.
california desert arts council: lqaf formed california desert arts council to be the unifying voice for arts and culture for the california desert region. Cdac will unify, empower and promote the arts in the california desert. Cdac initiative are cultural tourism, profession development, education and advocacy.
