Mission: SCCADV began as a grassroots organization, totally dependent upon the community for financial support. As awareness of the extent of domestic violence became more widespread, SCCADV grew to respond to the needs of the community. SCCADV is licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services to provide both shelter and non-residential services. Community financial support is critical in order to sustain services. Local dollars make it possible to provide support groups, children services, personal needs of shelter residents and so much more. Victims are our neighbors, our friends, our family, and they need help from all of us as a community. Your Support Saves Lives.
