The Kyle J Taylor Foundation is an amazing organization that is saving young lives and saving families from living with the loss of a child with all the meaningful work that is being done to protect young hearts in the Bay Area. The community heart screenings and district wide student athlete screenings are identifying kids with underlying undetected heart conditions that put them at risk for sudden death. These are literally life-saving days. And, the KJTF automated defibrillator (AED) donations and placements are making communities, schools, youth organizations and parks a safer place for all. The Kyle J. Taylor foundation is making a difference! They are educating folks about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and bringing to light how common young people are affected by SCA. Their free heart screenings and sponsorship of AED’s for schools and sports groups have made a great impact in our community. Just a few short years ago, I didn’t been know such a condition existed, nor the dangers of being uneducated about it. I have two teenagers, whom I now feel I am better able to keep safe by learning how to perform CPR and use an AED. These skills are not difficult to learn, but are so important to have. I truly appreciate the dedication the Kyle J. Taylor Foundation are putting into educating us about the dangers of SCA, and teaching us what we can do to keep our loved ones safe.

Kyle J Taylor Foundation is a very important foundation for families. I have 3 children who I took to one of the free screenings. One of my children has Autism and is nonverbal she can't tell me if she feels unwell. Getting her a free test was amazing and she did great! She was treated with respect and kindness by all the volunteers. I was able to stay with her during the testing. It was well run professionally, clean, and filled with valuable information like staying a live song when giving CPR. The volunteer doctors went over the results before we left and that gave us peace of mind.

The Kyle J Taylor Foundation is so important! By providing the AED equipment and youth heart screening and CPR training many lives - young lives -can be saved. It is vital to be prepared for cardiac emergencies because they can happen anywhere in public such as schools, colleges, dorms, and sports arenas. I hope they can keep expanding their work.
