I have been privileged to know Mr. Kelly Dunn when this "little" not profit was just a twinkle in his eye.
Since that moment he has devoted his entire life to bringing it to fruition for all of us to appreciate.
Congratulations one more time, Kelly, for being successful in reinventing your life and what is important in it, and not just for you, but for all to experience. THANK YOU!!! BRAVO!!!

As a fellow nature lover & hiker, I can attest to Kelly & his company always putting forth 110% for every customer... just from talking with him regarding all.

I moved to the island of Hawaii to experience the exotic jungles. I was seeking volunteer work and I was introduced to Kelly Dunn. Over time I came to appreciate the knowledge that Kelly shared with me and other volunteers He encourages everyone not only to learn at school but become their own researcher.
I have volunteered atKONA CLOUD FOREST PAINTED TREES OF HAWAII since 2017. I have learned so much from KELLY DUNN about tree ‘s and the preservation of the planet.
Kelly Dunn is a remarkably honest intelligent kind and genuine man who started his passion for the island and nature when he was a young boy! His family had property in Hilo and through his love for photography he discovered the nature but one particular interest caught his attention, the amazing trees that when shedding their layers of life were so beautiful! His knowledge of the trees, plants and surroundings through his tours has touched so Many lives! He has always been a person of his word, and has given back to others in so many ways! His photography is brilliantly captured and is very respected for his work to save the trees and share the beauty through group tours and his overall involvement in the community!
I’ve know Kelly since middle school he is brilliant and well respected I served for several months on his board of directors He loves preservation of nature and making a difference in the lives of others!
So proud of your hard work! Julie Dean

Best of the best !
I was a volunteer with the Target corporation. We worked clearing the trails and planting trees and flowers. It was exciting to know we were giving back and helping the future Earth.
Kelly Dunn taught us things about nature and see with new eyes!
I am happy to be part of this and look forward to our next outing.
I worked with Kelly before he moved to Hawaii and we had the best of times travelling and setting prints. Kelly was called for something bigger in this life and though our time as a dynamic duo came to an end, our friendship and his work will last forever. I’m very thankful for Kelly Dunn and everything he’s doing for the community and environment of Kona. When I visit Hawaii, I know exactly the first thing I will do!!
I don't write too many comments online but I have to say the work that Kelly Dunn and his team have provided to the island of Hawaii has been breathtaking! I have volunteered on many projects and I have never seen a more compassionate group of people! It's all about the "Aina", the land, and what it means to give back.
THE best tour guide on the island, Kelly Dunn!
The nature is astounding.
I can't remember half of what he said...lol...
What a wonderful experience... we are talking about after we arrived home! We
We look forward to visiting again when we return to Hawaii.

Wow, where to start! If you love Mother Earth, then you need to come to the Kona Cloud Forest. While planning my days out for my upcoming trip to The Big Island, I came across Painted Trees of Hawaii. In my research, I found 5 star after 5 star reviews. Then I went to their website and saw the legendary film director James Cameron was there hiking! If James Cameron and all the other 5 star reviews found this place to be a need-to-see when in Hawaii, then I did too ... and believe me, I wasn't disappointed!! The uniqueness of these trees, especially the Painted Tree was absolutely awesome. I loved the natural, unpaved trails. Guide Kelly Dunn, provided a bamboo walking stick and we were off. His knowledge of the Rainbow Tree and the Cloud Forest along with his wonderful sense of humor made this hike a great memory for me. I highly recommend this on your visit to the Big Island. Easy destination to get to, straight up the mountain from the Kona airport.
