Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Civil Liberties, Civil Rights, Community Coalitions, Lesbian & Gay Rights, LGBTQ, Reproductive Rights
Mission: The Knox County Pride Alliance’s mission is as follows: “Working in pursuit of a more equitable community for all, the Knox County Pride Alliance is a grassroots, community-based group that works to connect the LGBTQ+ community of the greater Knox County area with information and resources.”
Results: In less than a year, our membership has increased 25 members, we've started monthly newsletter, hold Meet and Greets, in the process of grant applications to supply education with organizations like GLSEN and setting up volunteer aid and peer support groups.
