Mission: Knock knock children's museum is a community spark for engaging, playful learning experiences that inspire and support lifelong learning.
Programs: Initiated and completed community-wide phase one capital campaign to build a children's museum in baton rouge, louisiana, which will serve children and families of the capital area region: acquiring funding resources for designing and constructing an estimated 30,000 sq. Ft. Innovative learning museum with 18-20 hands-on exhibits. Successfully completed schematic and design development plans with architect team for building facility and learning zone educational environments. Learning zone funding campaign was launched in 2014. Groundbreaking ceremony held april 2015.
ongoing program support - raising a reader, early literacy community outreach - coordinated program oversight, teacher/parent training, inventory/supply management as well as community partner logistics. Program served more than 40 students from participating classrooms in east baton rouge.
