Results: All monies donated go to designated local charities, Lourdes Columbian Society now operates Monday Night Bingo. The large majority of income comes from the Annual Fish fry , dues and donations.

Target demographics: Our Lady of Lourdes church and school and local community charties

Direct beneficiaries per year: Two OLL students with $500 scholarships, provided 2 wheelchairs to the Wheelchair Foundation and paid for a new pew at Our Lady of Loudes Church, provided 150 volunteer hours at the Sepulveda Veterans Clinic and 189 hours at the Los Angeles Public Librarys Adult Literacy Program

Geographic areas served: The Sunland / Tujunga community

Programs: The Pasture food bank, The Wheelchair Foundation, Tierra del Sol, Rancho San Antonio and Our Lady of Lourdes. Also provided volunteers to the Sepulveda VA clinic, The Boy Scouts, The Girl Scouts and other local charities.

Knights of Columbus council #4438 has a long and honorable history of supporting Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and school along with other local charities. Operating Monday and Tuesday night bingo as the major fund raisers. The Knights also sponsor 5th Sunday breakfasts held at the church hall along with Lenten Fish Fry on Friday nights during Lent. We support as individuals other organizations like the Boy and Girl Scouts and the local VA. Monies raised have gone to Tierra del Sol, Rancho San Antonio, the Wheelchair Foundation and the local food bank THE PASTURE.

Every year during Lent the Knights have their annual fish fry. The event is held in the parish hall and brings together the community of faith along with the Sunland and Tujunga neighbors that come out for a great meal and socialize with friends and neighbors.
