Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Food, Food, Agriculture & Nutrition
Mission: It educate on the importance of honey bees. Our outreach program covers not only schools, but also public events.
Results: Over 800 children were educated about honey bees in 2017.
Target demographics: understand the importance of honey bees and native pollinators
Direct beneficiaries per year: 600 school children, and countless people.
Geographic areas served: Klamath and Lake Counties Oregon, and Siskiyou and Modoc Counties California
Programs: Bee school program where we educate children about the importance of honey bees, their products, and how it impacts our food supply. Public events are another major stepping stone. These events reach not just children, but families, and entire communities.
