Mission: Kiwanis is a civic organization dedicated to community service. We create and sponsor projects that benefit people - especially children - in the city of lynchburg, va, and the surrounding counties. The kiwanis motto is, "we are an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. "
Programs: Provide scholarships for college expenses of graduating high school seniors.
sponsor 7 key clubs in area high schools, terrific kids programs in three elementary schools, circle k clubs in four colleges, action club for adults with disabilities.
