My daughter has always wanted a cat and I finally decided to let her have one. We went to kitty city, and the second cat we tried was just a cuddly. Apparently, she had been found with a feral cat colony, but was not thought to be feral. We took Tippy home that day. Seven months later, I am regretting my decision. Our poor kitty got what we thought was an upper respiratory infection, then we found out that her retinas had detached, making her permanently blind. Many vet visits and a trip to the Veterinary opthomologist, is how we found this out. Her red blood count was very low. This kitty just turned one year old. She has the dry form of F.I.P., which is always fatal. My teenage daughter and I are distraught beyond words. She still responds to us, but is eating very little. I will not adopt from a shelter again.

I had a search online for 2-3 months looking for a male Maine Coon. I was notified an adorable kitten meeting my requirements was available. I went as quickly as I could and they were adopted already but another was coming available the next week. I adopted him and he’s adorable. Get your application turned in and don’t wait those kitties are adopted quickly. The best bunch of volunteers I’ve ever met. Thank you!

I've been dealing with them for several years and absolutely love their work. I've even involved my company to match my donations. Just a great bunch of people.

I began looking for a kitten to replace my loving cat Andy who died and found Kitty City. After visiting their adoption events a couple of week ends, I knew I had to volunteer. This was a dedicated group of people who cared deeply about every life they were saving. They took cats and kittens into their homes and most would foster those charges until they got adopted, no matter how long that took. Sometimes it was a week, sometimes it was months. I have been fostering and volunteering for 3 years now and about 200 cats later, there is no place I would rather be. Each volunteer gives their special talent, whether it be bottle feeding newborns or cleaning the adoption center daily, working fundraising events, or doing data entry. Everyone gives their all. And because of that, Kitty City saves lives every day.
