Mission:
Kinship Partners is a nonprofit youth mentoring organization serving families within the communities of Brainerd, Baxter, Crosby, Deerwood, Pequot Lakes, Nisswa, Pine River, Backus of Minnesota by providing positive role models to youth in our communities. Being a mentor is natural and everyone can do it!
At Kinship Partner, we match children, between the ages of 5-14, with a caring volunteer adult partner (mentor) who has common interests. These partnerships are encouraged to spend time together each week. Some of our partners enjoy busy activities such as hiking, fishing or skating. Others prefer cooking or watching movies. It’s the time spent together that’s important.
Kinship Partners operates solely on community contributions. No federal, state or county funds are used. We rely largely on individuals, civic organizations, and local businesses as the base of our financial support.
