I have been part of the Kings Compassion organization for about 5 years and have watched this non-profit grow so fast. This is a great cause that is near and dear to my heart and every time I volunteer, it puts a huge smile on my face. I look forward to helping every month and being part of something that is bigger than me. Kings Compassion serves the elderly poor in San Antonio and I assist by sorting, packing, and delivering groceries to seniors that get assistance from the organization. Other events I have assisted with include the Cheese Box delivery, Thanksgiving meal prep for the elderly, and the annual home remodeling.

I have been doing monthly volunteer work for Kings Compassion for over two years and have absolutely loved every opportunity presented to me. The work they do is truly appreciated, not only by the community they serve but my volunteers. Knowing that an undeserved demographic is now being given some attention by this ministry warms my heart and puts a smile on my face.
I highly recommend to anyone looking to volunteer for a great cause. You will not only help senior citizens in need, you get to form bonds and create relationships. Overall, it is such a good experience and I happy to help out in any way I can.
King’s Compassion is an awesome organization that I came across through a great friend of mine! I started volunteering by myself and I loved every part of it. Knowing the focus of this organization with helping the elderly community caught my attention very quickly! After a couple of times volunteering by myself, I decided that I wanted to get more people involved to help. Being a pastor and in the process of starting my own church, I felt led to partner up with King’s Compassion, and I had some of my friends come along to help as we represented the church New Beginnings San Antonio!
