Mission: Our core mission at Kindness Matters Rescue is to place adoptable homeless animals into loving forever homes and to promote responsible companion animal welfare through support, outreach, and education.
Results: Kindness Matters was born in 2010 after a visit to a local animal control facility made Susi aware of the magnitude of the homeless animal problem. KMR is committed to lowering the staggering euthanasia rate and rescue as many wonderful adoptable pets as possible. We work constantly to build a magic net of rescue relationships throughout the Eastern Shore and the United States in order to rescue the most animals possible from these facilities. Kindness Matters Rescue became a 501 c3 Charity in the beginning of 2019. We are very proud of the fact that we have rescued over 1,700 animals in our nine-year history.
