I am so glad that I joined KindCause as a volunteer. It has been an excellent opportunity to learn the new Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud plus other skills and technologies that are valuable for nonprofits, such as Notion, Slack, Mockaroo, and more. I have also enhanced my communication and cooperation skills by working with the wonderful KindCause team on various projects and tasks, such as creating technical and marketing documentation, building Actionable Relationship Center (ARC) graphs, importing and cleaning client data, and more. They are very generous and helpful, especially Sunil, who has been my daily coach and advisor. I appreciate the opportunity to volunteer at KindCause and support its vision of empowering other nonprofits. Volunteering at KindCause has helped me make a positive difference in the community, expand my network, and grow personally and professionally.
I started volunteering at KindCause in April 2024. During this time, I learned a lot and acquired many new skills. Volunteering at KindCause has brought me many new experiences and helped me determine the direction I want to study in graduate school. I have to say that without this valuable experience, I might not be able to find out the career and development direction that I want to pursue.
I am very grateful for the help of Sunil and Sheeba, and I am also grateful for every skill and precious memory I have learned here.
I am a Salesforce Administrator, who is trying to get a first job in the ecosystem. Sheeba and Sunil have given me the opportunity to work on an experience site for them, as I have done multiple times in dev orgs/for passion projects. This project has stretched my abilities, and I have definitely had to go research and learned some new things, including the use of typeform (had heard of it, but not previously used it). However, that is exactly what I was hoping for- to be professionally pushed more in the right direction, which they have done. They are very kind and understanding. I am very thankful for the opportunit(ies) they have given me. And last, but certainly not least, not only did this help me, but it allowed me to give back to a wonderful cause.
As a volunteer Salesforce Administrator specializing in Nonprofit Cloud, I've been part of an inspiring organization focused on harnessing cloud technology to empower nonprofits in the arts, human services, and philanthropy sectors. We've supported nonprofits annually through our dedicated team of volunteers, offering setup, implementation, and training in cloud technology. Our efforts, including the creation of a replicable demo organization, enable these nonprofits to amplify their impact, serving both the San Francisco Bay Area and globally. This experience has not only been fulfilling but has shown the power of technology in making a tangible difference in the community.
KindCause has been an incredible platform for learning and giving back! While I earned my Salesforce certifications, the real-time experience I gained through their projects has been invaluable. Working on non-profit cloud initiatives allowed me to not only deepen my Salesforce knowledge but also gain a deeper understanding of the non-profit sector. Huge thanks to Sunil and the KindCause team for this amazing opportunity!
