LULAC Council 4535 and Foundation is an excellent non-profit that is always contributing to the well being of our communities here in the Killeen/Fort Hood area. The members all go above and beyond to identify areas of need. They support various other organizations at their events. They offer US Citizenship classes and scholarships for our youth. They are definitely making a difference here in our area.
It is an excellent organization. It provides so many benefits for the community. They help with obtaining citizenship for those who need help. they give out 20,000 dollars worth in scholarships every year. They help families by giving Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas baskets as well. They participate in many local events for the community as well. In 2020 they will be helping a group of dentist to provide free dental services for Veterans in our community. Their presence is known well in the area and they are willing to help where help is needed.
