Programs: General support to kilitech tanzania for ongoing and future projects. Kilitech tanzania projects include:* soko village primary school has about 400 children. Kilitech brought water, we installed solar power for the classrooms, we installed their first television in the village, we built a new kitchen, rebuilt the toilets and septic tank. The septic tank had collapsed from rains and the children and teachers were using a field for a toilet risking cholera and other diseases. The kitchen was a shack of loose boards and a single piece of tin roof with one pot, the new kitchen is brick, with room for food storage, and three cooking areas with proper chimney and ventilation. * maua group a women's group of thirty-three women that kilitech trained all year long in decorating and catering. Fifteen events were hosted in 2016 by the women. Attendance of the training was dependent upon farming activities and family obligations but attendance was high and the women won an award from the tanzanian government for best entrepreneurial group in the region. * chikima foundation: we built a school of two classrooms and separate toilet building. We teach free english lessons to 20-25 students, porters who work on mt. Kilimanjaro. The porters drop out of school to work on the mountain. With the kilitech school they are able to continue lessons in english reading and writing
