KidSafe Foundation is a great foundation with an amazing purpose. I found out about this organization through Volunteer Match.com and since then I have been volunteering my time to continue to help towards their mission. A world where empowered children become powerful adults is more of what we need and the KidSafe Foundation is at the forefront of making it happen!
Kid Safe has come to my 2nd Grade classroom for the past 3 years. The experience and information is priceless. The students role-play tough, real-life situations. The program teaches age-appropriate ways for the children to express themselves in "sticky" situations. Following the program I hear students confidently expressing themselves to each other. Te KidSafe representatives have been very knowledgeable and eager to work with the children. I look forward to the program again this year!
Kidsafe has been amazing. We had an incident in our school and they came and helped us through the process.
I have known KidSafe well for four years. This is an organization that continues to grow and to carefully analyze its programs, seeking to make impactful improvements in the educational opportunities it offers to protect and empower children to stay safe from abuse. KidSafe's straightforward education for parents, teachers, caregivers, coaches and others who touch the lives of our kids is invaluable and designed as a fitting complement to the programs designed for children. I'm proud to advocate for KidSafe.
As one of the principals at Extraordinary Charities, I am delighted that KidSafe is part of our family of 76 outstanding Palm Beach County non-profits. With strong leadership, creativity, a committed board and dedicated volunteers, KidSafe is working effectively to ensure that the children of Palm Beach County are free from abuse and empowered to seek help and support when they need it. This is an organization with a fine plan for the future --- one that is worthy of our support and the support of everyone in Palm Beach County who cares about ensuring our kids and grandkids grow up in an unbreakable safety net.
I have worked with KidSafe for over 2 years and have found them to be well run and focused on their goal. The employees and their board work well together for the common goal of empowering children.
10 years of helping children. KidSafe does a great job of making an impact on the current safety and future paths of the children that go through the program.
KidSafe is an incredible organization that works to do our most important job - keeping our children safe!
It is my honor to serve as a Board Member for the KidSafe Foundation. The professionalism and dedication of the staff continually exceeds expectation. They are always looking for ways to "refresh" and serve their constituency at a higher level.
I am a former summer camp director. I recently moved to Florida and having previously volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Northern Virginia, I was looking for a child advocate non-profit organization where I could get involved. The KidSafe Foundation has been all I hoped for and much more. For ten years they have been bringing the issue of sexual abuse prevention to the scholastic community. They have been doing a remarkable job in providing outstanding on-line and in -person training to teachers, parents, volunteers and children, having produced two award winning books for young kids. KidSafe is now working American summer camps and a major International staffing company to bring the same caliber of training to summer camp staff. Both International and American staff can participate in the new program, which will be rolled out in September. This will help insure a safer camp community for the millions of children who attend summer camp each year. I look forward to many more years of volunteering with KidSafe. They are without question, a top notch foundation.
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with KidSafe as a board member. Every community needs an organization to help to equip our children and parents with the knowledge and resources necessary to keep our kids safe. KidSafe has touched so many lives over the years and I look forward to our children to have the opportunity to go through the many programs for years to come.
I have been volunteering for KidSafe for nearly 2 years and love everything about this wonderful organization! The entire staff and team of supporters embodies a passion for providing prevention education. They all truly care about making a difference in this community. It is an absolute pleasure to work alongside such dedicated individuals who strive to empower kids to become powerful adults. If you do not know how to contribute to KidSafe, please take a few minutes to browse our website and/or social media platforms. There are a multitude of ways to become involved.
I have been volunteering for KidSafe Foundation since January this year. The work they are doing is wonderful. I am very grateful I can be a part of it. I hope every child in America and more will be able to get educated on Child Safety when it comes to preventing Sexual Abuse, Internet Exploitation and Bullying, all subject so current in our society today. Just read the news.
Thank you KidSafe for all your hard work and sharing the knowledge you have. Good luck!
I first learned of KidSafe when my kids were young and I came across the curriculum, which impressed me. Later, our company became a sponsor of KidSafe's major fundraiser and I served on the planning committee. I am now co-chairing the fundraiser and am thrilled to support this amazing cause.
KidSafe is a non-profit that goes into the community to educate and raise awareness to abuse. This organization has educated thousands of children and their parents. It is an not for profit that manages its resources, appreciates their board members and donors and continues to advance and bring more value to all who are fortunate enough to be associated with KidSafe, whether through education or otherwise. I am proud to be on the board of such a helpful, useful and unparalleled organization.
What could be more important than keeping our children safe? KidSafe does incredible work to help provide children with a voice and gives them the tools to access help. KidSafe also provides adults with the training to be able to recognize abuse and get children the help that they need.
I have one child in college and another in HS. and they still remember and use the lessons taught. They know who are in their Circle of Safe Adults and the difference between a safe and unsafe touch. PREVENTION Education empower my kids to be safe!
Love this organization. KidSafe does everything they can to help protect children from child abuse, bullying and online exploitation. They have 2 award winning books that I would highly recommend. Check out their book website http://kidsafebooks.com/product/jack-teaches-his-friends-to-be-kidsafe/
easy way to talk with your children about their personal safety.
Every child should receive this program and every adult needs to know how to keep their children safe. All to often we pay attention and react to a problem - more money needs to go to prevention programs like KidSafe! Child sexual abuse is an epidemic that can be prevented with education.
KidSafe Foundation is an amazing organization. They are extremely passionate about keeping children safe and for 10 years they have been providing education to children to empower them with skills and tools to keep themselves safe. But they do not leave the burden to the children to keep themselves safe...they also train all adults on how to recognize, respond and report child abuse. The goal is to make adults the first line of defense in a child's safety. KidSafe is a great nonprofit.
I first met the people at KidSafe when my kids were in elementary school, they came to present their program. It is a great program and teaches the kids in a way they can understand. My kids are now in High School and still use lessons learned.
KidSafe Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit organization which I am so grateful to know exists in the South Florida community. They have the potential to grow exponentially and make a difference worldwide. Everyone should take the time to learn about KidSafe and find a way to provide support!
KidSafe Foundation provides our children with education and tools to help them keep safe. My children went through the program and even though they were much younger at the time, my now high school and college children still remember what "Circle of Safe Adults" mean and who are in their "Circle of Safe Adults". It's a great organization making a difference in our community.
Not one day goes by where the news is filled with heart breaking stores about a child abuse case. People ask/say: how did we miss the signs, why was nothing said, didn't know who to turn to, was afraid etc... KidSafe programs are about keeping children safe by teaching prevention, recognizing those signs. It's a program that needs to be made available to all children, educators and parent to keep our children safe.
I first heard about KidSafe 9 years ago when they approached the PTA for the school my children attended. I was impressed with their program and how they taught the kids as well as educating the parents. I recommended the program be offered every year at the school and to this day the KidSafe program is taught to the children and parents of the school.
Two of my grandchildren were in a pre-K class that participated in the KidSafe for Kids program. They came home each week from the class talking enthusiastically about what they had learned - beyond important information made fun by the KidSafe approach to safety education. That was two years ago and the kids still use the vocabulary they were taught by the KidSafe instructor. I can't speak highly enough about KidSafe. I know my grandchildren are more safe now because of the education they received from KidSafe.
Four of my five young grandchildren have taken part in the KidSafe for Kids program in their schools, and they read the KidSafe books at home. I can't praise this program enough. The kids often use the KidSafe "language of safety" with each other, and their friends. It's become a part of their lives. I have no doubt they are safer because of it. Thank you KidSafe.
Thank you to KidSafe Foundation for providing me and my children with their life saving programs. After watching my child go through the program I am a believer of the importance of their mission and will do my best to spread the word on their excellent work. Thanks for all you do for the community.
I am a professional in the field. I highly recommend KidSafe Foundation and the education programs they provide to children, parents, teachers and the health care workforce to prevent child sexual abuse, bullying and online exploitation. KidSafe education programs should be mandated in every elementary school.
I am a donor and volunteer for the KidSafe Foundation. I believe in their mission to provide education to protect children from child abuse, bullying and online exploitation. It is important that other donors realize the great importance of preventing abuse BEFORE it begins and quality education programs like KidSafe should start in early childhood. I appreciate their use of a 3 tier approach to protecting children - teaching children, parents and professionals working with children. This is a great model for keeping children safe.
I am a long time donor to KidSafe Foundation. Although I support many charities - KidSafe is one of my favorites. I believe not enough is done to prevent trauma to children and the programs KidSafe provides to children, parents, teachers and professionals is not only a quality program but educates children through fun not fear and provides life skills for adults that are easy to incorporate into everyday parenting. I highly recommend this nonprofit for anyone wanting to protect children from trauma.
I have volunteered for KidSafe Foundation in several capacities – I love what they do – their mission and the people who run KidSafe. The programs they provide our essential to keep our community safe and help our most vulnerable citizens – children!
KidSafe taught my boys safety and how to protect themselves in all kinds of situations. They learned their body is their own, at a young age, as KidSafe came into their pre-school and elementary school. I know, as a parent, I was very relieved and comfortable knowing that my children learned, as much as they did, from KidSafe. This is an amazing organization that deserves all the funding they can get! It is used to keep KidSafe!!!
Kidsafe taught their program at Crosspointe Elementary School and it was a huge success!! Our teachers were impressed and our students were taught valuable life long lessons. Thank you Kidsafe!
Kidsafe is an amazing organization! Their goal is making sure all children and children's parents are aware and to keep kids safe. Parents need to be informed and have the communication open at all times and to know what tools are available in order to keep up with the technology.
Kid safe has great people to work with and the staff is wonderful. We look forward to more exciting and informative events in the near future. Thank you for all you do!!
"This is a great organization helping educate communities and schools at protecting children from abuse."
I have been fortunate to know about KidSafe Foundations services and resources for many years. As a PTA leader in South Florida I have been fortunate to hear from many of our units firsthand how useful and enlightening their members have found the KidSafe programs for both students and parents. They have also participated in 2 Florida PTA statewide Health summits to educate and encourage PTA leaders across the state on how they can help raise awareness about child sexual abuse. I am now an active volunteer with the Kidsafe and have seen firsthand how hard Sally, Cherie and Team are working to prevent child sexual abuse, bullying and internet dangers.
I have been on the Board for the past 2 years and have been able to see first hand how passionate and effective the Staff and Board Members are about keeping Kid's Safe. The organization continues to grow and reach more and more of the children, adults and organizations that can accomplish the critical goal.
I first heard Sally and Cherie speak back in 2004 when I was PTA President at my children's school. I knew then and there that what they had to say, and the knowledge that they had to share was something our parents needed to hear and our children needed to participate in. The following year we brought KidSafe in to the school for a parent lecture. After hearing what Sally and Cherie had to say, parents were volunteering to fund the program in their children's classrooms, as well as entire grades. I am happy to say that 10+ years later, after educating and empowering hundreds , KidSafe continues to educate children and parents alike!
As part of their Board of Directors I continue to be impressed with the passion, programming and partners which want to be part of our message of prevention education to keep our kids safe from child sexual abuse, internet dangers and bullying. Our continued growth speaks to the importance of our mission and the community support to keep sharing it. Here we are opening the doors to our new office in Boca Raton. Come and check us out!
The term "win/win/win" is commonly used in the retail business world to describe a successful outcome between a customer, a manufacturer and a retailer. I get it. Everyone in that relationship wins. At the end is all about profit and consumer satisfaction.
However, in the world of non profit, a "win/win/win" relationship goes much deeper than that.
At the KidSafe Foundation we have the perfect example of true success where the parents, teachers and kids win all around. At our foundation they all learn personal safety skills to protect themselves and others against child sexual abuse, internet dangers and bullying. Now, that's what I call a true WIN!!!

Kidsafe is an amazing organization! Their sole goal is making sure children (and those who work with them) are aware and safe. This should be every parent's goal as well. Plus, they're just great people to work with!
KidSafe Foundation has proved and continues to prove to be an informative organization. They teach both kids and adults! In today's society, a foundation like Kidsafe is critical to let everyone know about the effects of child abuse and how to work collectively to prevent it.
The message that this non -profit sends is vital to our children, just like you teach a kid to cross the street. Our children must learn to be "kidsafe"! I highly recommend that every child receives this program because nothing is more important than our kids and if you think they know this information instinctively, they don't. I love Kidsafe and hope that they can continue to help until all children are educated with this program!
I'm a mom with 2 kids who benefitted from Kidsafe. This program is phenomenal and every child should have access to it. It teaches kids to be safe in a fun, playful manner. As parents, we do everything we can to protect our children. But in an ever-changing world, kids need to know what to do when they are presented with a difficult situation and we aren't by their side. These are life lessons and valuable for everyone. My son used it when a "stranger" in a car approached him and a younger cousin outside, asking for help. He knew exactly what to do and wasn't scared at all. Whether it related to a stranger or to a trusted adult my son knew exactly what to do. Kidsafe empowers kids and adults. Even after many years, we still benefit from the knowledge and lessons!
Kidsafe is an unbelievable organizartion and the ciriculum needs to be taught in every school in the US
I have been involved with this organization a short time and they do amazing things. This is a program that is needed by all
I wish every child could go through the KidSafe program. It is AMAZING. Teaches children how to be safe in a completely non scary way. The books are great too!
Andrea Clemens, author of the Invisible Target, Breaking the Cycle of Educator Sexual Abuse, is one of the facilitators for the KidSafe Foundation. If you haven't heard her story, you should mak a point of it.
Florida PTA is one of the many associations that have been privileged to host the KidSafe Foundation. The facilitators gives a real picture with real solutions to identify and hopefully one day stop sexual harassment and abuse.
The impact KidSafe has made on the community in which I live in is beyond compare to any other programs that relate directly to the health and well-being of the families it touches. If we can duplicate these efforts throughout all our communities, our children will be the true benefactors of such a wonderful organization
KidSafe is an outstanding organization that provides education and support to prevent sexual abuse of our most vulnerable population. Child abuse and exploitation is preventable with education. Every child deserves the right to be safe. Every child has the right to have a voice. It is the goal of KidSafe to make prevention education mandated in elementary schools and mandated sexual abuse prevention training for anyone working with children.
Kidsafe Foundation works to provide a foundation for you and the kids in your life. They educate using an approachable and understandable program to inform parents, caregivers, and kids about topics that are many times brushed under the rug because of the uncomfortable nature of many of the topics. With the speed of technology today it is important that we use as many of the tools offered to us to protect and educate our kids . Kidsafe Foundation provides these tools and has shown that their tools work. Matt R.
Kid Safe Foundation provides quality care and education for community members in how to keep our kids safe! I have assisted once volunteering with the agency thanks to my sister. Keep up the great work in the schools, in our communities and everywhere else!
I was introduced to KidSafe by one of the Co-Directors in early summer 2014 and immediately realized the benefits the organization provides in protecting children and parents from the dangers that are inherent in society. Their pro-active approach to keeping kids safe is a much better solution than having to deal with the results of child abuse and bullying. I plan to help KidSafe reach their goal of keeping as many kids safe and healthy.
As a mother of a 6-year-old child, I thought I knew a lot about child dangers; but my experience with Kidsafe Foundation taught me so much more (and realistic strategies I can share with my son). A parent lecture given by co-founder Sally Berenzweig was how I first came to know KidSafe. Sally's presentation (and her genuine enthusiasm to protect kids) inspired me to get more involved in efforts to thwart child sexual abuse. I've since attended several KS lectures geared for professionals (e.g., mental health providers, teachers, school nurses) and an entire 8-week series geared for kindergarteners; the level of knowledge, ability to convey information, and appropriateness for each audience was stellar. Every child should be privileged to learn from KidSafe instructors. The KS founders and Board members are very passionate about the mission of helping kids: There is no other agenda than educating children, parents and teachers! Of the many organizations I volunteer for, KidSafe is the most rewarding.
I had the opportunity to hear KidSafe founders speak years ago - I was completely astounded by the statistics and felt the need to get involved. I love what KidSafe as an organization provides. They take a 3 prong approach by not only educating children with important life skills to protect them from Child Sexual Abuse, Bullying and Internet dangers but they also train and education parents, teachers and all professionals working with children in child sexual abuse prevention. KidSafe also has two award winning children's books that help further the learning the program offers.
Because of what i learned i started off as a volunteer - soon became a board member - became Treasurer and now i am beyond honored to be voted at the upcoming Chairman of the Board.
We were all kids and many now have kids. The programs that Kidsafe present are an important tool to add to a parent and child's toolbox. With the information taught we all can become more aware and safe. Thank you Kidsafe for offering a concise program that is easy to implement.
It is a honor to work on such a trusted, valuable board which has a profound impact on our community. Kidsafe is extremely professional and passionate about reaching as many children, parents, caregivers and community members as possible.
I serve on various boards, however this one is the most important in my heart. The co-founders of this Foundation and their teachers are out in the community everyday teaching us how to help keep our children safe. The books and the curriculum they teach to both parents and children is vital to us all! I only hope one day that every parent and child can receive this education.
I am presently a college student (FSU - Go Noles!) but served as a KidSafe volunteer throughout high school. I had the opportunity to experience KidSafe from many angles. I worked with the KidSafe directors in the office doing all sorts of tasks - while observing how a young nonprofit works. I then had the opportunity to represent KidSafe at community events - manning information tables and sharing KidSafe information. As a teen I also attended the Parent Seminar (assisting at info table) and although the information was for parents I learned so much about personal safety that helped me in my life as a freshman college student. My awareness was raised so not only am I safer but my friends as well. I look forward to staying involved with KidSafe in the future.
Quantum Foundation is proud to fund this great organization. I personally attended one of the training sessions and I learned more than I ever believed possible. It's rare that an orgazniation can help prevent immeasurable pain and suffering through candid education. Kidsafe Foundation does just that!
My children have had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the KidSafe Foundation's 8 week classroom curriculum in both preschool and elementary school. This invaluable education has proven effective in and out of our house. My children who are now 10 and 12 will observe something they don't deem as appropriate or safe and say "Mom. Is that KidSafe?" It is not just a term to us, but a way of life for our family that is practiced on a daily basis. My children use the skills that have been taught and they don't even realize they are doing it. For example, they "check first" before just going outside with friends. We often role paly situations that could occur during a sleep over or at a party. They report things that happen that make them feel uneasy or uncomfortable. This program has armed my children with knowledge about internet safety, their bodies, self awareness, and have given them techniques on how to discuss these subjects with us.
The parent seminars that The KidSafe Foundation have presented, have helped us feel more comfortable talking to our children about subjects that many parents shy away from. I have been to several of these seminars and learn something new at each one. I often walk away wishing that I would have had this same KidSafe education that my children are able to have when I was a child. Thanks to this nonprofit organization we feel we have armed our children with tools that they will have for a lifetime to help them make educated decisions that will help keep them safe as they encounter new situations and people.
The Kidsafe Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit organization! I am honored to be co-chairing their annual fundraiser for the second year in a row. Sally and Cherie's dedication to this organization is inspiring. Every parent, child, educator and administrator needs to know the information Kidsafe provides.
I support the KidSafe Foundation because I believe in it's mission to educate children and adults to prevent child sexual abuse, bullying and internet dangers. The statistics are staggering...1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually exploited before the age of 18 - but 95% of abuse and exploitation of children is preventable with education. Every child and every adult should have KidSafe!
As the parent of older children, I can tell you that the KidSafe Foundation is a wonderful program that should be in all schools, day care, and after school programs. Sally and Cherie provide the appropriate tools to help keep all children safe. Their approach appeals to kids on their levels and also appeals to the adults(parents, teachers, etc) on their levels. The are able to speak and demonstrate about important and serious information in an interactive and educational way. In addition, KidSafe Foundation has received tremendous support from the surrounding community. It's a program that should be on a national scale!
After hearing about KidSafe Foundation at a back-to-school event, I re-connected with this non-profit organization and became a volunteer. Now, as a member of KidSafe's planning committee for their upcoming Gala fundraiser, I have not only witnessed the amazing dedication and willingness of every Committee member to ensure a successful event, but I feel truly honored to be assisting such a great, motivated and empassioned group who believe in protecting children, raising awareness on safety precautions and advocacy, and more. Through their seminar programs and offering critical educational tips, founders Cherie and Sally have developed a wonderful non-profit organization that has - in only 4 years since its inception - truly impacted the communities in and around South Florida!
Both of my children have gone through the KidSafe Foundation program. As recently as this week it has made a major positive impact on our family, as one of my children reported something to my wife and I, that I think other children would not have. I am proud to be on the Board of this organization and I look forward to growing our reach and educating parents and their children about real world child safety issues.
Both my children have gone through the KidSafe program and I have proudly served on its Board since its inception. I cannot say enough positive things about Cheri Benjoseph and Sally Berenzweig, the programs founders and Executive Directors. Their personal belief in keeping our children safe is what drives KidSafe. In today's crazy world, it is reassuring to know that KidSafe is there, trying to educate, inform and protect not only our children, but our parents an teachers as well! I highly recommend this organization and hope you will consider getting involved.
It is both a privilege and honor to be part of such an amazing organization. Through the years I have worked with several Non Profit organizations, all have had a great mission, but not all have had such passionate and dedicated staff and board. Each individual that works for, is on the board or volunteers for this organization is 100% committed to educating the community and sharing the mission.
Both of my children has been students of the KidSafe Foundation Pre-K program. Years later, my kids remember the valuable lessons that were shared in the 8 week curriculum. Both kids loved reading the KidSafe books to each other. I can't say enough good things about how important it is to teach your children the language of safety at a young age. The KidSafe teachers did an incredible job with the kids. In addition, I will never forget the lessons I learned as a parent at the KidSafe Parent Night. Thank you!
