I am proud to support Antoinette Tuff as a community leader, and her work through her nonprofit- Kids On The Move For Success, Inc. In 2013, after saving 870 elementary students from an active shooter, Antoinette knew her new purpose was to give children educational opportunities and safer schools. To date, Kids On The Move For Success, Inc. plays a vital role in bringing the community together around important issues such as academic resources for in-school and out-of-school experiences, school safety, and serves as a dynamic resource provider through Town Halls with local leaders, law enforcement and business stakeholders. Antoinette's love for children and her commitment to keep communities safe are at the backbone of what Kids On The Move For Success strives to do in all of their programs. The students, educators, volunteers, and parents involved in KOTMS programs have all shared in the success of shifting what students think they can do, rooted in her determination to help children transport beyond limitations that may exist in their everyday life. Kids On The Move For Success, Inc. provides much needed sponsorship opportunities, academic tutoring, mentoring, family touch-points for added student support, especially in low performing schools. As of 2018, Antoinette has served as a collaborative partner with my nonprofit-Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company, Inc. for STEAM education across several counties in Georgia including DeKalb, South Fulton and Clayton Counties. Kids On The Move For Success, Inc. has been an invaluable asset assisting us in connecting with historically underserved students and their families in a meaningful way to gain access to rigorous learning opportunities through our community events, providing parent feedback, and partner for in-school programming opportunities. Hi my name is Loria Culver! I was one of Ms. Tuff parent who was chosen to mentor and help My son Alton Christophe in School and my Daughter Naomi and Son Michai. Kids on The Move For Success Has and is a blessing to me and my family and all who she helped and came across and has or is supporting. Her Staff and her self go beyond there titles to reach out to the needs of the community even supporting and having or finding resources for the family. Her program is a place you can call home because her love for the kids and us is beyond great. From patience, time to even sacrificing and personally gave and gives financially and her time without ever asking for anything back. Most of all she treats the kids as her own. Never seeing any difference ratherale or female, age black or white etc... As far as the kids the growth in there behavior and academics went up tremendously. All who helps and been apart of such a great STEAM program can say many lifes has change for the great good. She stayed with her kids even while there were in School even pass them graduating and helping the kids with Scholarship and much needed tutoring not asking for anythin. She checks up on the family if there absent. Her programs she offer everyone can learn and grow. She and her program is Genuine, Honest, Loving, Caring, Helpful, Supportive, Concern, Truthful and great communication. Loyalty out this world I witness all this from her and the program. I defiantly appreciate Ms. Tuff and the program she has allowed to come into a area where people like us never gets a chance or our kids due to low income. She gave our kids a purpose and reason not to give up and that sky is the limit no matter what. Her program allowed all involved to go places and see things and opportunity some of us has never seen. She Even blessed me who diagnosed with lupus even when I did kemo or was sick and has supported and helps me and my kids to this day.
