KIDS has changed my life! I came to volunteer at KIDS in January of this year for two months! It was my first mission trip and first time traveling alone outside of the US. As soon as I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I immediately knew this was a very special place. I loved my experience so much here that I decided to come back in the summer and intern for 6 months!
There are so many ministry areas to serve in, there is a place for everyone! The community I have made here is amazing, and I have been so blessed by the hearts of those behind KIDS. It is a family here and I am grateful to be a part of it! KIDS will forever have a place in my heart!
“Breaking the Cycle of Poverty”
I am blessed to be part of this Non-profit that believes that to truly transform a community we need to share the gospel and build relationships while feeding, clothing, and educating the community; and caring and loving the orphans. The hope is that each person we encounter feels cared for and loved and walks away knowing they are a son/daughter of Christ.
I have been volunteering at Kids International Ministries since I was a teenager, and am now a doctor at the ministry. The growth and progress throughout all these years truly shows how much the Lord has His hand it in all. Lives are changing everyday and it’s a blessing and privilege to take part in it! A community like no other.
I was one of so many people who changed lives and found purpose in life because of their help. Their love for Jesus and love for people in different race, color and kind is wonderful. KIM is truly a ministry of God.
Thank God for Kids International Ministries!
I started working with the organization last year and it changed my life! It was after the pandemic that I decided to give up my desire for missions since it was so hard during the pandemic to do things for the ministry! I was given the chance to work as their partner, but little did I know that the ministry will become a big part of my life. Seeing how the people work and how they surrendered their lives to God, I knew for sure this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I knew it was God who called me to be part of this.
It's not always easy, but I always have peace in my heart knowing that I am where God is leading me. I love how the minstry caters everyone, from babies to children, youth, parents, and families. It's for everyone! And I think that's what God wants us to do - to love everyone!
This community always reminds me of God's love for His people and I am happy to be a part of it.
Thank God for using Kids International Ministries. Since I was a kid this ministry had a big part in our community. They help people especially students like me in our community by empowering schools. Their outreach events and initiatives have brought people together, reinforcing youth to be part of a larger, caring community. They provide people an opportunity to start over by offering them different support through a variety of outreach programs. The results of their efforts are not only seen in the better living situations of the people they assist, but also in a restored attitude of hope and self-worth.
The truth is that God led me to Kids International Ministries. I am beyond blessed and thankful that I followed the Lord on where He is guiding me, here! It is very challenging for me to be here, and I love how KIDSim people encourage me to continue, and I never regretted hearing them. I love the environment, the people, working and doing ministries under KIDSim.
Here, people lift each other up, uniting to break the cycle of poverty.
It's all by the grace of God, and it's all praise to God.
Being involved in this ministry changed my life. I volunteered at the ministry in 2011 for the first time. Seeing how people at the ministry loved those in the community surrounding the ministry really challenged me and the way I viewed poverty. The ministry uses the phrase 'breaking the cycle of poverty' and explained that poverty was generational and at the core was identity based. If we can change how a person views themselves the persons life will change. This ministry is impacting the community in transformational ways by running a children's home, school, pregnancy clinic, youth ministry, family ministry, feeding program and many other outreaches. In serving others, my life was changed in the process.
I have been blessed to be a part of this ministry for a few years. A ministry that truly reaches out to the community, committed to creating disciplines of not only the community but also their missionaries and volunteers!
